I Love Blue and White Thrifting....
I haven't posted any of my thrift store finds lately...we can enjoy dessert and coffee on a, new to me, Royal China Co., Sebring, Ohio, hostess set. It includes a large dessert plate and 4 smaller dessert plates. The large plate has a woodcutting scene and the small plates have a horse/sleigh scene. I found these at our local ARC Thrift Store, hello, Joanne, for 10¢ a plate. The little silverplated salad/dessert forks were also found at the same time. They were 25¢ apiece. The forks only an R&B on the backs. The cups and saucers go to my Liberty Blue set. The lace cornered napkins came from an estate sale years ago. I put the cake plate on a little pink glass pedestal. The candle holders, also, were a thrift store find, 50¢ for the pair. And of course, the silver coffee service was a Goodwill find a few weeks ago.

I cannot believe how amazing your finds are. I just showed this to my husband (who has been to Sebring when he lived in Ohio for a year) and we both said that if we went thrifting we would be lucky to find a chipped water glass! Your things are beautiful.
Best wishes, Natasha.
I love that Currier & Ives took with the sleight! You are quite the thifty scout!
Is that silver coffee pot set for real?! I haven't seen that at my Goodwill! I am a card holder... I have just a couple more punches for my discount. :-)
Wow, Mimi!! What great finds! And such good prices! You know I had to come running when I saw blue and white plates! lol You have set a very beautiful table on a shoestring!! Fabulous! Happy week!...Debbie
I love those dishes and what a bargain ! Thanks for stopping by !
I love it all! Blue and white is amazing anytime, anywhere!
You are singing my song with the blue & white! Greta find at a great price!
Wow, your Currier & Ives dishes are stunning, and a great buy as well. LOVE blue and white. As for the flatware, I'm betting that R&B stands for "Reed & Barton," a quality flatware manufacturer that dates back to the 19th century. They have several lovely old silverplate patterns.
I love old flatware almost (almost!) as much as I love old dishes!

Those dishes are WONDERFUL! I adore blue and white! And the napkins...just too darned cute for words! And naturally I love your silver. I even wear silver when I wear jewelry.
The hammer I bought at a place not far from Riverside called Barbara Cheatly. That was many years ago. It was one of those little shops that had so much stuff in it that my head was spinning and I wanted everything I saw..then I spied this little hammer..and it was probably the only thing I could afford back then. That little tassel has never come off in all these years and if you look closely you can see the wear, but for being hand painted and kept in my tool box (like the fool I am!) it really has stood up well. I've used it constantly! Someone really took a lot of time and effort and when you look at it is really a work of art. I don't think I could have done such a thing. I saw that a person with a real imagination had painted it. I love that little hammer..if you can love a hammer! :):) Nope, didn't paint it myself. I wish I had!
Hugs,
Mona
I love those plates, very pretty!!!
You will definitely need a room added on for all your finds! Christmas is coming!!
What a deal! 10 cents a plate! and 25 cents for the flatware! Wow!
