Thank you, thank you, to everyone for taking the time to view and comment on my first few months of blogging; it has been very much appreciated. May each and every one have a happy, healthy New Year...and a great 2010 blogging year!
Hope everyone had a very enjoyable holiday season; I always look forward to it, but am always anxious to get back to my "normal" routine, too!
Now that the holidays are behind us I look forward to a great year ahead. I do not make any resolutions, as they are usually broken with the month! But I do have a few goals I would like to accomplish.
#1 is to shed a few of the extra pounds I have been toting around the past few years, to do more in the way of exercising, which definitely doesn't include sitting at the computer for hour upon hour each day!
#2 is to prepare/cook more wholesome meals, a lot less butter when sautèing, in other words!
#3 is to get 4 rooms in the house painted
#4 is to volunteer more hours to Meals On Wheels

Nummy looking cookie pinwheel! Likely no calories there because they've all been spun off, right?
Happy New Year, Mimi :) Good luck with your goals!
Hi! Love the title of your blog but I think we're the middle of nowhere, Nebraska :). I can say that because Kansas is my home.
I enjoyed browsing your blog. I am a Goodwill shopper, too. Although between the holidays and the weather, I haven't been for a while. I have to go next week.
Happy New Year!!
A wonderful start to the New Year!
Did you get by to read my 2009 Recap post? I gave you a shout-out for letting me know what mothers silver pattern was. thank you again Mimi... you're a doll!
