Silver Sunday #3

I can't believe it is Sunday already, time to join our host, Beth of Gypsy Fish Journal, for another Silver Sunday. Please stop by her place to see what everyone else has brought to the party.

This week I don't have much to show, but thought this pretty silverplate berry/casserole spoon might be a catchy piece with all the detail on it. It is something I picked up at an estate sale for a couple dollars in Sun City, Arizona. It is Wm Rogers pattern Yale produced in 1894.

The large footed tray is 23 inches from handle to handle. It is a W & S Blackinton and the pattern is Chippendale. I picked this up at a thrift store in Dublin, Ohio last fall for only a few dollars.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, it is very much appreciated. Have a great Silver Sunday!

Beautiful old silverplate -- I LOVE old plate. Yale is a very collectible pattern; you don't see much of it, and it is so pretty. Beautiful spoon.

And the tray? I would LOVE to find one like that, footed -- I have just the tea set to put on it!
