Red, White and A Valentine Table

I will be joining our gracious hostess, Susan, of Between Naps On The Porch, for Tablescape Thursday. Please be sure to stop by her porch to see how the others are decorating their tables.

You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them.

It is just a few days until Valentine's Day. What are you and your sweetie going to do to celebrate?

The only thing I bought specifically for this table was the heart shaped dessert plates. Unfortunately, there were only two left by the time I got to TJMaxx.

The other two pink flowered dessert plates were from Goodwill. The back of the plate has "Mignon" ZS&C Bavaria.

I finally have enough pieces of Frontenac to set a bare minimum table! I have 6 dinner forks, teaspoons and 5 dinner knives. I am on the lookout for another dinner knife, salad forks and soup spoons, then will concentrate on all the other fancy, non-essential pieces.

Stand on the chair to get the whole table shot!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and comment. Have a great week!

The silverware is stunning! What a romantic table, and very nice that you had everything and only had to buy a couple plates. It made me laugh about standing on the chair to get the whole table in the picture! Happy Valentine's Day.

We aren't sure what we are going to be doing...if anything. We usually go out, but this year we may do brunch and stay home in the evening. Your flatware is outstanding...I love it. The table looks so pretty!

Me too, me too!!!

We are ALL in love with your silverware!

I got my heart plates like that at Home Goods, and I have two place settings in the pattern -- just enough for me and My Love. I acquired them over a period of years, as they seem to pop up every year. So don't despair, and you will probably find some more next year. Just grab them when you see them!

What a pretty table. I saw those plates at Home Goods but not in the heart shape or I would have picked them up for sure. In fact I had those plates in my cart and then decided to put them back as I was getting to much stuff. You made me regret not getting them. They are so pretty.

Hi, I just wanted to stop in and thank you for visiting with me at my blog.

Your table is lovely, but I have to tell you that your flatware is to die for. I love it. Do you know the pattern or maker. I love it!!

I noticed from your profile that you like dishes, so do I. Wish they didn't take up the space that they do. My next house should have a dish room. :)

Have a blessed evening.
