Not Those Roosters Again...
I always look forward to this time of week when it is time to visit Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday! Thank you for hosting, Susan.
To enlarge the pictures, just click on them.
I am very tired after all that celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Kathleen, so I set a very simple table tonight!
My inspiration this week came from the same source as last week...rooster chargers gifted me from my sister, Jerry. This time they were yellow...she knows my weakness when it comes to roosters and dishes!
Not wanting to iron another tablecloth, I decided to use yellow and blue placemats I bought a couple years ago at the Big Dollar in Mound City. They are reversible, one side being floral and the other striped. I have used the floral for the placesettings and the striped for the centerpiece.
With the charger I used a plain blue dinner plate and a square salad plate in a buttery yellow. The yellows are almost exactly the same shade.
I have used a blue water glass and a clear wine stem.
The centerpiece are the daisies from last week, which still look great, an old blue china rooster and brass candlesticks.
Thank you for taking the time to stop to see my table! You know it is very much appreciated. Until next week...
