Are You An Olive Lover?

Thank you, Susan of Savoring Time In the Kitchen, we now have a new delicious cracker spread. I know, I know, Susan called it a sandwich spread, cracker or sandwich spread, it is delicious. I did have to make a substitution, no pecans on hand...walnuts, pistachios or almonds. I chose almonds, but think it would be better with the toasted pecans, which I will use the next time, as they have a more robust flavor. Another plus, it is simple to make!

If you are a lover of olives you might want to try this tasty recipe, which can be found on Susan's blog...just click on the link above.

P.S. Her photographs are fantastic!

I love olives! My youngest daughter loves olives and has been getting a can of black olives in her Christmas stocking for years (her husband is amazed as he hates olives) we love them all! Going to check this recipe out!

I was thinking it would taste good on crackers and now I know :) I'm so glad you liked it, Mimi!

Actually, a big thank you a couple of times. First for your nice comments on my blog, they are always so nice and upbeat. They make me smile. By the way, wait until you see the rest of what I am posting for the shower. Secondly, I am so glad that you mentioned the cooking blog. I had discovered her blog back in January and had wanted to go back to visit and then could not remember the full name. Ta da. I just found her again. thank you. This time I am noting the blog address. What an unexpected pleasure.

We love olives, so I'll have to grab the recipe. It looks yummy. I make an olive spread with pecans, but mine has cream cheese.

Try "Stacy's" Pita chips next time instead of crackers...YUMMY!!! You can usually find them in the natural food aisle with all the snack chips....they're my favorite to replace both a chip and a cracker!!! (don't like olives, though...)
