Tablescape Thursday, it is getting to be that time, when we visit Susan at Between Naps On The Porch to see some great tables done by fellow bloggers. Thank you, Susan for hosting my favorite meme!

While scouring an old schoolhouse turned flea market in the town just south of where I live I was lucky enough to find 4 luncheon size plates with a color that I love to use in my peach dining room...orange.

Later in the same week I was astonished to find 4 placemats with the same colors as the plates...orange/white/gray fringe. To be truthful, I wasn't looking for any linens, period...but, hey, when they jump right out at me I have to take them home! I had to turn them the long way like a table runner as the table I am using is very small and cozy, compared to our regular dining room table.
I did have to buy a couple of salad plates as I only had two in the Waechtersbach Orange Peel. The original two were found at TJMaxx, but haven't seen any since I bought these about 3 years ago.
I have been searching e-Bay for more orange goblets after finding the two small ones. Well, I finally found some large enough to use for lemonade/tea/water but they were being sold as a set of 7 with a couple other pieces, none of which I was interested in . I was so happy when the seller agreed to sell me 4, my husband thought I was doing a rain dance, which we certainly didn't/don't need, when I was doing a happy dance!
The silver is Oneida Afterglow 1956. Peach linen napkins came from ARC Thrift store for 25¢ apiece.
The flowers are from the front yard, orange day lilies, orange ditch lilies, white cone flowers and gooseneck loosestrife.

This is a gorgeous tablescape. I love the colors. Don't see a lot of plates like that. You have put this together so nicely and I love your flowers also. So pretty. So what's for lunch??

Nice tablescape -- the colors are coordinated really well and you got some great deals! I really like the way you've mixed daylilies, "ditch" (or as I like to call them, "classic") orange lilies, and gooseneck longstrife!

Such a pretty setting with the different tones of orange. I know what you mean when something jumps out at you that you didn't even know you needed. You must get it when that happens.
I'm not a huge fan of orange, however, I bet it looked cheery after all the rain you've had!! And, I do like this table!! :D

You have done such a great job gathering these things in a color that isn't easy to find. I've been collecting some of the Waeschterbach (I know I haven't spelled that correctly!) too. I'd love to get some orange.

Such a pretty orange/peach tablescape. The luncheon plates are so cute and your flower arrangement is a beautiful compliment to them. If only I had a green thumb, so I buy flowers from the market or florist.

I love the orange! Same color as that sweet cat on your header. I had an orange cat growing up that looked similair- now we have 3, but no tigers...yet...3 is such an uneven number, we may just add to the cat family oneday : )
