My Tablescape #43

It is that time of the week to visit Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Thanks for hosting, Susan! Please make sure you go over to see what other fabulous tables have been set this week.

To enlarge any picture, just click on it.

The inspiration for my table was the napkins from Pier One via Savers.
I could have gone with lime, but next week my table will be green...so aqua
it is.

Placesetting of a square dinner plate Roscher & Co.,
salad plate, maker unknown and soup bowl, Pfaltzgraff.

My new favorite napkins, silver napkin holder and Oneida
Afterglow circa 1956.

Layered dishes; the soup spoon is Rogers Bros/International
Manhattan circa 1951.

Out of all the colored stemware I have, these, by far, are my favorites...Noritake Sweet Swirl in aqua.

Hydrangeas from the side yard. They were so dry they
were drooping, but a big drink revived them. There is
no water outlet on that side of the house and I forget
to drag the hose out there

Placesetting with candles...sorry about the quality of
the picture, had to use the flash.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my tablescape. An extra thanks to all who take the time to leave a comment...any blogger knows how very much they are appreciated.

Oh Mimi!! This is gorgeous! I'm working on the garen walk Saturday, and I'm doing a tablesetting under the pergola (I wrote a big blog about it - so follow me over and check it out) and I'm looking for inspiration - of course, I knew I could come here and find tons! I'm loving the idea of the forks under the napkin rings, and those gorgeous plaid napkins - the colors are just GORGEOUS!! GORGEOUS! So, don't be so surprised if you see that copied next week when I play in TT Thursday! :) Can't wait! Thank you so so so so much for the inspiration! :)

LOVE this blue!! I have been drawn to these aqua/turquoise shades lately as I search for some vintage "melmac" in those shades, but my mom just got some aqua "Daisey and Button" blates in that shade that are incredible. Beautiful table!!

Aqua is one of my favorite colors at the moment so everything about your table works for me. The hydrangea is just the right contrast.

Pretty tablescape, Mimi. I have never used Aqua, but I have sure been loving it lately. Maybe because it makes me think of the beach...where I'd rather be.
You can do lots with the colors in those napkins.
The pink Hydrangas add a suprising spash of color.
