Easter Is On The Horizon...

The inspiration for this week's tablescape arrived in the mail around the first week in March. My Vermont friend of 50 years, sent me a beautiful set of embroidered placemats and matching napkins, in my favorite color. I immediately knew they would be used for my Easter table. Thank you, again, Randee!

To enlarge any picture, just click on it.

Placemat and corner of the napkin.

The charger plate is Certified International found at TJMaxx.

The dinner plate is from TJMaxx and just has a B in a shield for the backstamp.

The salad plate is Alfred Meakin, pattern unknown.

The dessert plate is Wood & Son, Glenwood.

The maker and pattern of the water/iced tea/lemonade glass is unknown. The wine stem is Towle Leyland, circa 1982.

The green pearl handled flatware is a recent acquisition from World Market.

The green and yellow bunny napkin holders were from ARC Thrift Store.

The resin bunnies were a yard sale find last summer.

The tulips were from my daughter, Erin. The little white ceramic bunny was a thrift store find a few years ago.

The pretty plate rims.

Place setting. I used a different colored glass egg on each plate.

The entire luncheon table.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope you leave a comment so that I know you have been here! Hope to see you again, soon.

I will be joining Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Thank you Susan for hosting my favorite weekly meme.

Another winning table. I love the green handles on the flatwear. The bunnies are so darn cute, and what a clever idea to place an egg on all the plates with a toothpick. Shows such creativity. Keep up the great work!!

This is such a beautiful table! How wonderful of your friend to send you those fine linens. I don't think I've ever seen anything like them in a color, and not just white or cream. They are extraordinary.

I love how you've layered your beautiful collection of whites and greens. Each layer is so interesting unto itself and when they are together - Just gorgeous!

Have a blessed Easter.

Love those linens! Your table is beautiful. I have those same green dishes from TJ, but mine have a name Home Essentials, on the back from China. Probably copies of your's! You mentioned that we might have the same drop leaf table; mine was my husband's grandmother's table. Both of my tables were from my husband's grandmother's on each side of the family. I have 4 leaves for the drop leaf so I can set a REALLY large table if I need to! thanks for you comments. Dianne

Those glass eggs on each place are just wonderful.

What pretty greens! I adore all of the textures and patterns and those lovely linens to set the mood. Did she hand embroider them? They are exquisite. Don't you just love TJ Maxx. I just went to an out of town store today (much better than ours!) I did contain myself to one set of bowls! Now where to put them!

Have a joyous Easter, and such a pretty table to eat it on.
