A Vintage Table

The urge to do an aqua and green table hit the other day! I have had this vintage table cloth for quite awhile, so I started looking around to see what I could put with it. I remembered my sister, Judy had sent me some clear blue plates and white ones with aqua and green fruited rims. I pulled everything from the cupboards in those shades and this is what I came up with...it makes me smile.

Vintage tablecloth-Ozone
Peacock napkins-thrift store
White dinner plate used as the charger-International Tableworks Devonshire
Blue clear glass plate-Arcoroc
White salad plate-Alfred Meakin, unknown pattern
Dessert plate-Noritake Blue Orchard circa 1964-1977
Sherbet-Colony Glass Whitehall circa 1964
Water goblet-Indiana Kings Crown circa 1960
Wine stem-Maker/pattern unknown
Sterling flatware-Oneida Afterglow circa 1958
Blue vase-Belgium
Daffodils-my garden
Aqua candle sticks/votives-thrift stores

I will be joining Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Thank you for hosting my favorite weekly meme, Susan.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog...please feel free to leave me a comment.

It is amazing how much the very top plate matches the table covering. It is as though those 2 pieces were made together or to be together. I love the flowers as well. Allergy time makes me stay at a distance, but they are definitely beautiful. It "cheers" the table like a smiley face!!

If God looked kindly on coveting, I would covet those Arcoroc clear blue plates. My eyes flew to them immediately. The blues and greens are so wonderful used together. You pulled just the right things from those cabinets. Thank you for sharing your delightful design. Cherry Kay

Your aqua and green makes for a very spunky table. I have the same stemmed glasses, a first gift from my husband years before we were married.

Love the blue and green. Would have never thought to have done that, and lucky you, you've got all the perfect dishes to pull it together. Love vintagae tableclothes. They give such a warm nostalgic feeling. And those knobby blue glasses, I've been keeping my eye out for those. Beautiful, as usual.
