French Country Lunch

This week I wanted to do another luncheon for the girls I work with at the thrift store. The colors blue and yellow kept popping into my head for some reason. I hunted around for something real simple and this is what I came up with.

Placemats/napkins-Goodwill
Yellow napkin rings-Yard sale
Flatware-Oneida Afterglow
White dinner plate-Gibson Regalia-Savers
Blue salad plate-Varages, pattern unknown-Savers
Berry bowl-British Anchor Beacon Hill-ARC Thrift
Blue seeded glassware-Savers
Footed centerpiece bowl-Savers
Blue/white orbs-Savers/Goodwill

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to visit my little blog! I really do appreciate it.

I will be joining a few parties this week, please make sure you stop by to visit with them, too!

Let's Dish at Cuisine Kathleen
Wednesdays Bunny Hop Party at Bunny Jeans Decor
Thrifty Things Friday at The Thrifty Groove
Seasonal Sunday at The Tablescaper

Thank you ladies for hosting each week!

Oh, yeah....French Country to the max!!! There was a very good reason the yellow was hanging around in your brain...there was a great tablescape to be made!!! I have never had a lot of success in pulling off the French Country look. I've only tried a couple of times, and I wasn't pleased with the end result. It has been 5 or 6 years since I last tried, so maybe it's time to give it another whirl. You did a marvelous job! You have such a keen eye for finding great things!

This is my very favorite color combination. The place mats and napkins are to die for. Wow, what a good, goodwill you have. Our GW is the pits. I have NEVER seen anything that come near this.
Love the stems too. What is Savers? I noticed that a lot of your lovely things came from there. Obviously, I don't have one of those.
Have a great weekend. Ginger:)

What a welcome site this table is after all the red, white and blue this week! I can't believe you got all of it at thrift stores too! I have 2 of those glasses and would love at least 2 more. It looks a little French and a little Italian to me so I would expect a wonderful tasting meal!
