Another White Dish Challenge!

This week is Kathleen's challenge is to do a table with just white dishes and one other color for accessories. I think I may have met it!

I started with a hand crocheted table topper that I have had for awhile.

I layered white dishes starting with an extra large dinner plate and ending with a soup bowl.

The water glass is from TJMaxx and the wine stem from Pier One Imports.

The purple handled flatware was found in a flyer that was in the Sunday paper several months ago. If I remember correctly it is from Brylane Homes.

The napkins were a gift from my friend, Norma and the grape napkin holders are from Savers. I head to the pegboards where they display napkin rings before I even check out the dishes these days. I think I may have more napkin rings than dishes...those baskets next to the hutch are filled with them. I may need to find another one at the rate I have finding new ones!

The centerpiece is a white pedestal from TJMaxx filled with plum/green beaded fruits I bought at Savers a month ago. I thought they would be great on a fall table...so here they are. The amethyst/gold candle holders are some I found at the thrift store a couple years ago.

Thanks for taking time to visit today, it is very much appreciated. Please come back next time...

I will once again be joining Let's Dish/Cuisine Kathleen.

I love the use of purple with the white Marigene! I didn't get a table set for the challenge although, if reversed, my Canadian Thanksgiving Table might have worked LOL!

This table setting makes me feel calm and relaxed. Maybe it is the colors. Everything ties in so well together, and mom will be happy the napkins worked for you. Have a great day - Sue Z.

I'm so glad that you used amethyst as your accent color. I kept gazing at my amethyst goblets, and I just couldn't ever get "there." Your table is lovely, and the plum colors add such incredible richness. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

Beautiful! Love those bowls, and those candle sticks are so different. You did a great job on the centerpiece too. I think your Savers is better than the one an hour from me, but I did find 2 sets of napkin rings there.
Thanks for taking the challenge at Let's Dish. I think the lights are out for the whites!
