The plates are layered with the 3 main colors from the tablecloth starting with a solid cranberry dinner plate, a green salad plate and finally a pear shaped bowl. Or is that a squash shaped bowl? I think the tendrils make it a squash...I am pretending it is a pear for tonight.
The flatware is a vintage yellow handled Oxford Hall Fashion Wear from the early 1970's. I found some on eBay, 5 pieces (2 knives, 2 forks and a spoon) for $40...I paid $7.96 for a 4-piece place setting, service for 4. I was disappointed there were no soup spoons. Guess I should be thankful there were 4 each of the other pieces.
I think the glassware is probably from Dollar Tree via the thrift store. It is one of my favorites.
The centerpiece is red alstroemeria and red chunky candlesticks/candles.
Thank you for taking the time to visit today...hope you will be back next time.
I will be joining Let's Dish/Cuisine Kathleen.

Whatever shape the bowl is, it's great, and the plaid trim on the tablecloth is so sassy!
Hi Marigene, Your table is so pretty, as usual!! I love the plaid trim on your tablecloth and I definitely think those wonderful bowls are pears! The flatware is new to me but looks like fun! Have a wonderful evening. Linda

Oh Marigene, the table cloth almost looks like needlepoint from the picture. It is sooo pretty and I love the colors. What a perfect backdrop for all your pretty dishes. This is one of my favorites of yours.
Beautiful table! I love your colorful tablecloth and the pear bowls especially.
A lovely table setting. I have one of the pear/squash bowls and a tiny one of it too. It looked to me like there should have been a middle sized one too. I never thought of using it for a soup bowl, but it would have to be a dinner for one, for for two if someone wanted just a dab of soup. Everything is just wonderful, love the silverware.
So colorful and bright, Marigene! You are right, the layers of dishes match the colors of the tablecloth exactly. Perfect! Oh BTW, you are always welcome to my parties.....Christine
This table is lovely! Those bowls are great!
Love it...the tablecloth is so bright and cheery. Love the red and green together. Great setting......pear soup? Squash soup?

I love the tablecloth and pear dishes! Glad I stopped by...See you next week at Kathleen's challenge.
Blessings My Friend,
Your tablecloth is gorgeous - this is such a colorful and welcoming table setting!
Oh, Marigene, what a beautiful table! The colors just mirror fall so well. I would love to find a tablecloth like that! So many of my cloths are just neutral and they do not enhance the dishes like yours does. You've matched eveything so well, even down to the candlesticks. Lovely! Rosie
Oh, Marigene, your table is lovely. The colors on your tablecloth are beautiful and really reflect the fall. My tablecloths are all so neutral in color, you've tempted me to start collecting more interesting ones! This is a designing job well done! Rosie
I am a nut for shaped bowls, and those pears bowls are calling my name. The whole table is stunning, but those bowls really get to me.
Isn't it fun to find a great tablecloth then match dishes and decor to go with it. Well Done!!
I love that tablecloth! It's great! The fantasy pear/squash bowl is superb. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
Wow, that is one beautiful table! I love all those rich colors, and your pear dishes are fantastic.
This is all so pretty Marigene! That flatware is cool, just so cool, such an unusual shape. And the squash bowl is lovely, I'm calling it squash because I love squash. Take care! -Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
