Last Minute Luncheon

The inspiration for this table was a hankering for pizza! I decided at 9:30 Thursday night that I wanted pizza for lunch so text my friend, Marlys to come join us for lunch yesterday...nothing like waiting until the last minute! The menu was homemade pepperoni pizza, a green salad and chocolate cupcakes filled with peanutbutter cream, from Betty Crocker!

I opened the armoire and the first thing I saw was the black and white checked table cloth so I grabbed that and some black napkins.

After looking through the dishes I settled on the yellow cabbage ones, with black plates as chargers.

The flatware is Oxford Hall in bright yellow.

The glassware is Longerberger that I found at the thrift store.

I added a sunny bouquet of yellow daisies.

Nosy Mr. AJ wanted to see what I was doing while taking pictures. He follows me like a puppy!

Thanks for visiting today...do come back to enjoy the green on March 12, 2014, to follow along on Cuisine Kathleen's 6th Annual Saint Patrick's Day Blog Crawl.
