Amethyst, Emerald and Sapphire

I am concentrating on the amethyst and emerald for this table. The inspiration for this week's table is a gorgeous woven table square...it is mostly purples, greens and blues. I did this table for my friend, Norma's birthday lunch on Monday...her favorite color is purple, so I used as much purple as I could find! The table square is very striking, not sure the photos are doing it justice.

Backside of the table topper.

I recently found a dozen lavender BP cabbage plates on eBay and couldn't pass them up. There are a few colors that are really hard to find; lavender, purple, blue and red. I am always on the lookout for these hard to find colors.

All sides are Bordallo Pinheiro this week. The stack starts with a green dinner plate that is being used as a charger, then the lavender luncheon plate, a purple dessert plate and finally a green soup/salad bowl.

I am using amethyst glassware that I bought at TJMaxx about 5 years ago. I wish they had had more than just the 4.

The flatware is my favorite Oxford Hall Fashion Wear in green...this is a new eBay purchase, also! The napkins are solid purple held with a lilac napkin ring.

The centerpiece is an aqua compote filled with amethyst beaded fruit, black candlesticks and aqua candles.

The rim shot.

This is one of my favorite tables of the year...so far!

I will join Anything Blue Friday/The Dedicated House.

Thank you for taking the time to visit today...hope you will come back next time.

I am stunned - you have outdone yourself!! I've never seen anyone that puts colors together so well. I bet your friend was delighted. I love the table square - and the cabbage dishes - I am a BIT envious.

Oh, yeah....the photos are doing the topper square justice! Wow...so pretty! The colors are just so brilliant!!!

TJ Maxx almost NEVER has things in more than 4. SO frustrating!!! I have to go from store to store to store hunting for additional pieces. I wonder why they do it that way? It just seems silly because a lot of people (not us!) would just leave them behind because there aren't enough for whatever use they have in mind. Then we have to play the "keeping my eyes open" game to try and find more in subsequent months and years. It's maddening!!!

I'm glad you found those plates on ebay! I have stayed away from ebay because I know I could get into even more trouble there than out shopping. I'm already bad enough with the linen companies!!!

Beautiful table, Marigene! No doubt the guest of honor was just that...truly honored!

Have a fantastic holiday weekend, and hugs to you both!!!

I love the beautiful rich jewel tones in this setting! To answer your question about the cruets I used for my chive blossom vinegar, I bought them many years ago, and I think they are from the Christmas Tree Shoppe…..Haven't seen any like them in quite a while! Thanks for stopping by!
