Laura Ashley Berry Bramble

Like everyone else, I am yearning for spring, something green! Looking through my linens I found this Laura Ashley Berry Bramble tablecloth. I paired it with two solid colored napkins; lavender linen and a white with a pretty crocheted edging. The napkins are held with green glass/metal napkin rings.

The plate stack is comprised of all Bordello Pinheiro cabbage leaf in green, white, lavender and purple.

The glassware is a ribbed amethyst Ivima water glass and a green etched wine stem.

I have used my favorite Oneida Louisiana flatware, again.

The centerpiece is a purplish coffee pot filled with purple tulips that are barely opening. I put a penny in the water to see if it would keep the stems from flopping...it doesn't work...their little heads are nodding every which way! The mismatch wood candlesticks are some I painted a deep, bright purple.

The best buy on the table are the green etched crystal wine stems...they were about $2.00 for all 4. Sure wish I could find the maker/pattern.

Thanks for taking the time to visit today...hope you will return next time.

Boy, it does seem that spring will never come in some parts of the country! It's a good thing we know how to make it happen with tables full of spring color. I'm crazy about your purple.

Marigene your purple cabbage plates are lovely and look perfect with the Berry Bramble tablecloth. You have me looking at cabbage plates on Ebay, almost every day now I trying to find some of the pretty colors that you have. The tulips, beautiful tulips look so graceful bowing in their vase. It will be wonderful when the snow finally melts away and the bulbs come up and start blooming (those that survived the nearly 20 degrees below zero temperatures that is). Have a wonderful week.....
