On The Eve Of Fall!


The inspiration for this week's table was the beautiful rich colors of the tablecloth. I pulled out the gold and purples. The natural thing for a centerpiece was a tray of grapes and fruits.

Gold salad plate-Terra Provence/Goodwill
Purple Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage dessert plate/eBay
Purple handled flatware-Catalogue purchase (can't remember the name of it)
Citrine glassware-Artland Iris
Lavender wine stem-Noritake Sweet Swirl
Grape and fruit centerpiece-Various thrift stores

Since tomorrow is the first day of Fall and it has been a little cooler here, I'd say this is apropos as well as beautiful. Love the purples. The tablecloth is gorgeous and the centerpiece is so fitting.

Everything just goes together perfectly! I just love the golds and purples together. I wouldn't think of them as autumn, but with that tablecloth they definitely look fallish...

I just love the rich purples for fall mixed with the oranges and green. Marigene those purple cabbage plates are taking my breath away - wow! I also adore the purple flatware - but I bet you could guess that. What a rich and lovely fall table.

Marigene, I love how you pulled out the purple from the tablecloth. Love the dishes and the flatware. Just pops off this cloth. Those chargers are some of my fav's wish I had a set, oh well.

This has to be one of my favorite tables this week. I love, love, love your color combinations. Starting with the tablecloth, and on and on. I really love the purple cabbage plates. I would love to have those and will have to check Ebay. Your centerpiece is so lovely. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful tablescape.

The tablecloth perfect! I love the fall hues in the tablecloth, the deep purples and the vibrant golds are beautiful. The glassware and the flatware look great with your purple cabbage plates.
