Fall Is Just Around The Corner!

Everyone seems to be in a hurry for fall to arrive. In reality, it is still hot here on the prairie and probably won't cool down for about another month. I just want it cool enough to open windows and doors for a little while before we have to turn the heat on. We still have our air going full blast!

This is the last new tablecloth, think I bought it at Tuesday Morning, if not it would have been TJMaxx. It has a tan background with lots of orange, aqua, grey and green. I used burnt orange napkins held with the same shade napkin ring.

The placesetting is simply a woven charger, orange cabbage charger and mocha dinner plate.

The glassware is an aqua wine stem.

I chose wood handled flatware.

For the centerpiece I gathered up a few ceramic pumpkins and gourds, a wood compote and buttterscotch/brown candle holders.

I plan on doing one more summer table...I found the cutest seagull napkin rings last week while at Savers and don't want to wait until next summer to use them.

Thanks for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog...it is very much appreciated. Hope you will come back next time.

Love the color combination of the orange and turquoise, but don't love the thought of Fall just around the corner.....although it has been pretty warm here the last two days (85+°). Great tablecloth.

Marigene, this is so pretty! I don't use a lot of orange, but you have made it sparkle with the turquoise and wood accents! I'm ready for some cooler Fall weather!

Today you'll get a break in that scorching, steamy weather! When we woke up this morning, it was SO refreshingly cool and comfortable out...we were in awe! I'm going to get out in it and plant a few mums since all that rain rolled through and thoroughly moistened the soil. We can enjoy this fall-like weather for at least the 2 days it's expected to hang out!

I love the vibrant colors in your tablecloth! The orange napkins and rings are so pretty with it, and I like the way you pulled out the aqua with the stemware. The whole table is so nicely pulled together!

Have a fantastic weekend, and GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a storm last evening, and it finally cooled down here! Loving the colors in your tablecloth and how the stemware really stands out. I look forward to your seeing your cute seagull napkin rings.

Just beautfiul Marigene, I just love your colors and tablescape. I'm not ready for pumpkins and fall just yet, we still have hot weather and the AC cranking, like you! Looking forward to seeing your next summer tablesetting. :)

Marigene, I love the colors in your tablescape. The paisley cloth is perfect for your dishes and you have styled your tablescape well. Love those aqua glasses.
I'm ready for cooler temps but not really ready to pull out pumpkins yet.
Thanks so much for your kind comments and visit. I appreciate you.

I still have the a/c going full blast, too, Marigene! Your table is such a pretty transition into Fall. I love the wood handled flatware, and your paisley tablecloth. The aqua glasses add such a nice compliment to your tablescape. I'm ready for some cooler temps!

Ohhhh lovely - so pretty and matching so well. You do color the best of anyone I know. I have similar wooden handled flatware. Our weather cooled off - now a few more days in the mid 70s and then rain starting on the weekend - to be expected this time of the year - we are even a little late in the start of constant rain (that's ok with me). I plan to spray paint a few things this afternoon while the warmer weather lasts.

Can't wait to see you next table - and you will NEVER believe what I found the other day (no I'm not telling). Soon - a new post about my newly painted china cabinet and a new table setting - before long.

Enjoy your week my friend - hope that Kansas heat lets up a little bit for you. We lived in Kansas for three years in the mid 70s - and as I recall, we had three very nice days in all that time. Guess who doesn't miss Kansas?

What a fabulous combination of colors! I love the centerpiece and tablecloth. Honestly, I go to TJ Maxx and Home Goods, and never find the great stuff that you do. What a colorful way to welcome fall.

This color palette is stunning but I am not the least bit surprised :)
You have the magic touch.
I need that tablecloth.

Love your table, it certainly makes me think of fall even if it doesn't feel like it starts this week. Here in my part of Florida, it won't feel like fall until around the end of October.

You are so talented.

Wow, those goblets match the linens exactly! What a striking color combination. We are getting set for Halloween - I will save fall decor for November, as I have a party first week of October and my sister from Texas is coming next week! I won't have time inbetween to decorate!
