With all the holiday goings on I almost forgot it is time for Tablescape Thursday with Susan at Between Naps On the Porch. Please make sure that you stop by BNOTP to see all the other tablescapes.
We got up to a white Christmas for the first time since moving to Kansas almost 8 years ago! With all the drifting it was hard to tell exactly how much but it was about 7-9 inches. This unexpected "gift" changed our plans of going to friends for dinner. It was a very relaxing day, not doing much and definitely not going anywhere on unplowed roads.
I used the holly/berry plates that you saw a week or so ago...they were a Goodwill purchase.
Wishing everyone a very Happy, Healthy New Year and thank you, all, for making my first few months blogging so enjoyable!

This is so pretty! I have those same plates and have enjoyed them for years -- I was so happy to add to my placesettings when I found several at our GW a few weeks ago. Happy New Year's.
Your red and green table is a delight. Always makes one feel cheerful in my mind. I shared a red and green table this year as well. Hope you have time to stop by for a visit. ~ Sarah

Love the pretty tablescape. I love red and green and for years had my home decorated in those colors. All of your placesettings and accessories are just lovely. Thanks also for stopping by and leaving such kind and gracious comments. I really appreciate it. I hope you and all your family have a very Blessed and Happy New Year. Hugs, Marty
In Georgia we never get snowed in but are going to pretend we did!
Your table is just lovely and I like the plaid very much.
Happy New Year.

So beautiful and just so right fot the Christmas holiday. I am so glad I got to know you in Blogland. This year really went by so fast and part of it I am sure was because of the fun we have had in blogging. I hope 2010 brings you and your family more happiness, love, peace, health and prosperity....Christine
I love your colors. The plaid is wonderful. Seems this year I've fallen in love with it all over again..lol. Your dishes are beautiful. Thank you for swinging by and saying hello. I wish you and yours a Happy New Year..
hugs ~lynne~
Very pretty! Great that you adjusted so well when your plans were upset from the snowfall!
Have a Happy New Year!

Sometimes Mother Nature has a way of changing things up for us! Hope you enjoyed your snow days in... I like your table setting- the GW china would have been a treat for me to find. Our store NEVER has sets of anything. Just odds and ends of junk. LOL Hope the new year is a good one for you! I rang mine in by falling asleep around 10 pm. Must've been a hard day for me. *grin*
