Post Mother's Day Luncheon

This week the inspiration for my table came from flowers my daughter Erin gave me for Mother's Day...they are mostly purples, whites and pinks. I decided to do a simple luncheon table with purple, white and green.

I have used purple and white toile placemats and matching napkins.

The purple dinner plate is by Gibson and the floral salad plate just has some numbers and made in Italy on the backside.
The green iced tea/lemonade/water glass are some I picked up at Goodwill for 37¢ each on senior discount day.
The flatware is, once again, Oneida's Afterglow.
The metal candle holders were found at Savers for almost nothing, I think it was $2.99 for the pair.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you will come around the next time. I will be joining these parties:

Let's Dish at Cuisine Kathleen
Wednesdays Bunny Hop Party at Bunny Jeans Decor
Centerpiece Wednesday at The Style Sisters
Thrifty Things Friday at The Thrifty Groove
Seasonal Sunday at The Tablescaper
Thank you ladies for hosting each week!

Hi Marigene!

If green is you favorite, is purple you second? I always love them together :) That raised flower dish is really very pretty and unique to boot!

I hope you had a nice Mother's Day!

I may be a little early... but thanks for sharing at my party this week.

Senior Discount Day at Goodwill, huh? OK...that gives me one more thing for my list. I will turn 55 in June of 2012, and I have a list of all the things I'm going to do on that day! Going to the iHop and McDonald's for discounted meals is on the list, and now Goodwill shopping is on the list, too! The salad plate is absolutely gorgeous!!! You set a beautiful table in purple, green & white!!! The toile placemats are really pretty! BEAUTIFUL flowers!! They look fantastic with your setting!!!

Beautiful table! I get so envious when I see the beautiful stemware so many people are picking up at Goodwill. I've picked up some nice china and linens, but stemware is very scarce in our local Goodwill. You've done a lovely job of setting a pretty table.

Hi Marigene! It's taken me awhile to check out the other tablescapes, but here I am! What beautiful flowers as your inspiration! Those candle holders are so unique, and I can't believe that price. Well, purple is the "in" color right now, and your table just shows why!
