A Fennel Tart!

This morning I came across a recipe posted by Meike of Eat In My Kitchen blog that sounded delicious...and I had everything in the fridge to make a fennel tart. I did improvise a bit. I used about half a package of chive/shallot boursin instead of parmesan cheese and a ready made pie crust.

This is a delicious savory tart! Click on the link to find the recipe. Thanks for the inspiration, Meike!

I will join Foodie Friday at Rattlebridge Farm.

Hi Marigene, how yummy and pretty too. I haven't baked since Christmas, so this look quite appetizing.

looks delicious....I love ready made pie crust (only Pillsbury refridge kind) and you really keep fennel on hand?

This sounds wonderful! I love fennel and what a fabulous tart for the cold weather although I am sure it would be a wonderful summer treat too!

That does look delicious, Marigene! I've been thinking about quiches and tarts a lot lately so hope to be making this one soon.

I love fennel just about anyway you fix it, both raw and cooked.
