I started with a plain lime green tablecloth and aqua hemstitched napkins. To this I added woven chargers topped with green and brown Echo Point Collection leaf plates. To the plates I added Boston Warehouse brown soup/salad bowls. I did the table without the tablecloth, but didn't like it...too boring...so you will see a few without.
The flatware is brown Oxford Hall, circa 1973. The glassware is Artland Iris in light green.
The centerpiece consists of real birds nests that had fallen from trees, faux eggs and ceramic birds.
Thanks for taking the time to visit today...do come back next time.
I will be joining Cuisine Kathleen this week.

I love the green dinner plates. Who would have thought you could dress up a table with birds nest. And...I thought I saw a little bird in the nest. Neat idea. - Sue Z.
You met the challenge, Marigene, and used all three elements. You always set a pretty table and I especially love the brown handled flatware.
Your table is so pretty and I love all the colors and those cute little birds.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thank you for dazzling us every weeks with these spectacular tablescapes. bbb
Oh how beautiful! I did not know there was a challenge cause I have been out of the country, I just posted a table before I visited you and it is not about birds and eggs. Maybe I will replace it and show this next week instead
....Christine
I love all the natural colors with the birds and nests~ and those fat birds look adorable perched on those fabulous chunky candlesticks! The centerpiece looks great with the large crocheted "nest!"
Jenna
As Kitty said, you hit all 3 elements, and beautifully! Love the vibrant colors, and your cute birdies.
Thanks for taking the challenge, Marigene!
Marigene! Your table is wonderful. I love the natural feel of it and I am totally jealous of those great green plate - they are so unusual. You certainly met Kathleen's challenge with this tablescape!
Marigene, I love your table. The green leaf dishes make my heart go pitter patter. Really like your flatware also. Your centerpiece with the lovely crochet piece (tablecloth?) is gorgeous. So pretty, I'm going to look again.
This table appears to show birds really nesting in the centerpiece! I love how you created the birds perched as if they had just flown in. The rustic feel of each place setting is the perfect touch with this tablescape!
Have a fabulous week!

First of all, I love the green and brown together. I have always wanted something similar to the bowl and plate. I would have never thought of the color combination. Your green stemware is so pretty. I love the table with the table cloth and without. Nice to have such natural elements like the bird's nests. I never think to collect them. Just a very pleasing and colorful table. Joni
Wow you have some real nests! Great collection. The birds are cute and the dishes go nicely with them.
Oh so pretty. The nests are great!
I just love your table with all the color...makes me feel so welcome and comfy!
Marigene, I love the way you elevated the ceramic birds on the candlesticks. Those green stems are beautiful, and I really like your flatware too. Well done, as always. laurie
Margene, your table is one I'd enjoy up close. The centerpiece of actual nests would have me mesmerized. When I taught, my science center always had a group of natural nests that had been abandoned. It's fascinating to study all the elements the bird used to build their nests. I have one small one in my trayscape today. It has horse hair woven through it. Also really like the colors your used. Shades of green with the earthy brown appeals to me.Those were the colors of my Easter table last year.
Very, very pleasing to the eye.....using all the woodland tones!!! Gorgeous table, love the leaf plates, bubble stemware and the chunk of heirloom lace in the center!!!
Hi Marigene, I used the same green bubble glasses on my bird table challenge! Don't you just love them? I recently tossed all of my real nests during a cleaning binge and now, seeing yours, I wish I had saved a few. Love the colors you have put together. Linda
Beautiful table! Love your centerpiece.
Marigene,
I love your table...and that you used real bird nests is wonderful.. I usually have some somewhere but this time around, I had NONE! so I am so glad to see yours..very pretty..
Love, Mona
Marigene, your beloved greens all came together beautifully for this table. That first photo took my breath away -- gorgeous!
Marigene, I love that you used such a earthy pallet for your table. Love the brown and green together so much! You once again set a fabulous table my friend.
hugs,
Linda
I love your chubby birds perched atop the candlesticks and real bird nests. The greens and browns and basket chargers go so well with the natural bird nests. Makes me want to chirp! Happy Spring.
I looked at those nests and wondered if they were "authentic" or if you had just sat down and studied the way real nests look!!! I love it that you included them in your tablescape! There's nothing quite like nature to do nature's job!!!
I actually like both versions of the table: with AND without the tablecloth. Each brings something different to the overall look. Nice that you showed both ways so that people looking for ideas can decide for themselves what most appeals to them!
I hope you have a good weekend planned...even if that just means chillin' out at home. That's MY plan!!! :-) Have a good one!!!
My eyes were immediately drawn to that lovely crocheted piece in the center! What a wonderful collection of bird nests you have, Marigene!
I love those Green dinner plates with the woven chargers! The lime Green in the napkins give the table that special Easter touch! Of course, along with the birds, nest and eggs for the challenge, which you met with perfection!
FABBY
I love using natural bird's nests and have quid collection. I love the leaf plates and the green glassware. The over all view of your table is just beautiful. Dianne
This is very pretty! I like those leaf plates a lot! I need those green goblets, they would go with my new green placemats! How neat to have REAL birds nests!
Katherine
Bold color choices...they work perfectly. The textures add a wonderful element to your design. Thanks for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay
Marigene, you've done it again! I love your tablescape!

Great table, Marigene! I agree, the green tablecloth adds more to the overall color. I also love how you used real nests. They add beautiful texture!!
Oh Marigene this is so beautiful. I so love all of the beautiful greens and the warmth of the browns. You have captured all of the beauty of Spring and then some. The green tablecloth color is reminiscent of leaves as they starting to bud out and unfold. The leaf plates and the green stemware are so pretty. I love this table.
Marigene,
I am quite smitten with your green leaf plates, dear friend!!! Your birds atop the candle holders, are a very clever idea, indeed!
I adore the blending of green and aqua within the color palette with the sampling of brown!!!
It truly, is getting green In The Middle of Nowhere! "Mr. Ed" and I were through your side of the Prairie yesterday!!!
Fondly,
Pat
I especially like how you have treated the center of your table with what looks to be a crocheted piece. You responded to the challenge beautifully.
Wow. Very rich colors. Love the touches of spring with the little birdies and nest.
Thanks for visiting me Marigene. I do appreciate your kind comments.

I love what you've done here. Isn't it great to be challenged to create something and then pull it off with such aplomb?!
Such a pretty table Marigene. Love the sweet birds. You have gone all out on this one and it shows. So full of spring.
So pretty Marigene! Love the leaf plates and the flatware!
Happy Easter!
I am a little late but had to stop by before tomorrow's Tablescape Thursday. I love all the green. I know its your favorite color! It looks so natural and springy. Love the nests and birdies. Have a great weekend.
Blessings My Friend,
Marigene, what a beautiful table! I love how you added height to the center of the table and how fun to use the real birds nests. I didn't know about the challenge either, but you did a great job. I adore those bowls.
