Not Quite What I Had Planned...

I had planned on doing a mostly white table setting atop a vintage tablecloth but it sort of turned into something else with the turkey tureen I found at Good will Saturday.

Another Thursday has rolled around, Susan at Between Naps On The Porch is once again hosting Tablescape Thursday. Please stop by her site so you can check out all the other guests beautiful tables.

"Gobble~Gobble" You & I have the same turkey!!! Only I ordered mine online years ago. I don't have a ladle to go with him, but I usually just serve my stuffing from him. Right now, he is full of leftover Halloween candy. :/

He looks great on your table!

OK, I'm pretty envious of that white turkey. I've been searching for a simple white turkey tureen for several years. Loved seeing this one on your table. Gives me hope that I too will find one. LOL
Blessings to you and your family. ~ Sarah

This looks so lovely Mimi and your new Turkey looks perfect. I also love the way you have photographed each of your steps in creating the setting-very helpful for a relatively new tablescaper like me!
Best wishes, Natasha.

Beautiful table, loved all your turkeys. I bought one of the wooden turkeys at the thrift store not to long ago, but I haven't used it in a tablescape yet. Thanks for showing all your creativity and for visiting.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I see in you love to collect dishes. Me, too!
It's a sickness, isn't it? Just wish it didn't take up so much room, eh?

What a great find at Goodwill! I love the white turkey. I read through some of your other post and I couldn't agree with you more about thrift shopping. Every time I think, we are not going to go this Sat...I worry...what great find I might miss.
