Good Bye Pink and Red

It's that time again...Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch. Thank you, Susan, for hosting. If you have never checked out the tables, you are missing out on something very inspiring.

To enlarge any photo, just click on it for more detail.

I am about done with pink and red for a while. I chose blue for the nice clear blue of the sky the past couple of days. I am thinking SPRING from now on. The blue and white tablecloth is one I found at Savers, the napkins were from a cooking forum swap several years ago and the flatware is Rogers Deluxe Plate Gracious 1939, which is the pattern I grew up with.

The place setting is a white ironstone charger/dinner plate with a blue edged dinner plate, white salad plate and clear blue soup bowl stacked atop one another.

The water/iced tea/lemonade glass is Indiana Glass Whitehall. These are one of my favorites, at least until I get my hands on the green! The blue is a crystal clear shade...beautiful.

Stacked plates.

Candlelit table.

Thank you for taking the time to come visit. Hope to see you here next week.

Looking good, Marigene....blue is one of my favorite colors so this one warms my heart on a clear, cold, and windy VT day. The silverware brings back good old memories.
Thanks,
Delma

Marigene, you're right -- blue and white looks so refreshing after all the reds and pinks we've seen lately. I really like the tablecloth -- it makes a great base for your pretty stacked dishes. Love those glasses!

The blue is refreshing! Our skies started out blue this morning and now are gray and ominous.

I am tired of my pink and red too, but it hasn't been out very long so I don't know if I can put it all away yet, but it won't be long.

Hi Marigene!
I'm with you about the Valentine look for awhile. I think that is why I went so different with the colors this week for tablescaping. I will probably post the pink table in a week or two. I love that you did blue. Nothing is fresher than blue and white. this table looks like Spring should be heading our way soon! Very pretty!

I'd like to get my hands on the green version of those glasses too. I do love your blue ones, though.

I am very ready for spring myself and really like your table.

What a crisp clean looking table. It would look lovely in a country farmhouse kitchen. Loved the blue and white and once had a set of those glasses but my dil has them now. Very pretty.

Your blue and white table is so inviting and the colorful flowers add to the warmth of the total setting. I want your blue glasses....the color is such a soft share of blue....robin's egg blue and a difficult color to find. Thanks for sharing.
