I'm In The Pink!

It is that time of week when we dress our table for Tablescape Thursday with Susan of Between Naps On The Porch. Thank you for hosting, Susan. Please make sure you check out all the tables that are on display this week...promise you won't be sorry.

The inspiration for my table this week came by way of a gift from my sister, Judy. She has been waiting for me to do a black, white and pink table...unfortunately, I don't have much in the line of pink, other than linens and stemware. Judy bought me pink, white and black soup bowls. Both of my sisters seem to enjoy supporting my dish addiction by adding to my growing collection.

You can enlarge any photo by clicking onto it. I think if you click onto the enlarged one again it will really magnify the photo!

No mindless prattle, just photos...that's why you are here, right?

this week, just photos.

I just noticed the reflection of the table/chair in the window on the left!

Linens-damask tablecloth, black napkins/thrift store finds
Black charger-Home
Dinner plate-Wedgwood Hedge Rose
Salad plate-Alfred Meakin, I don't know the pattern
Soup bowl-Narumi Pink Scroll
Flatware-Oneida Afterglow circa 1956
Pink water stem-Indiana Glass Recollection, this is a reproduction of the Depression Glass pattern Madrid
Pink wine stem-maker/pattern unknown
Ironstone pitcher the flowers are in-Wm. Adams & Sons Micratex

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and will return soon. Thank you to all who are gracious enough to leave a comment.

The giveaway for reaching 200 followers will be something white...

How my mother would love this with all the pink. She tells us all over and over how pink is her favorite color. But no-one can do such a fantastic job with pink as you do! bbb

Marigene - I LOVE this color combination - so very feminine looking as well as elegant & romantic! The bowls are beautiful - you have wonderful sisters.

I never knew I liked the black/white and another color combos until I started following your blog! I have purchased the black & whites and experimented with B/W/Red but Pink definitely going to be tried soon.

Pink & Black...so classic together! I'm loving your water stems...would love to find something similar, as I don't have ANY stemware to go with my pink depression plates. I have cups to match the pink & actually found 2 recently at GW for $1 each!!!!! Crazy folks didn't know what they had & just gave them away.

Thank you for your sweet comments on the Talavera but I must explain that I don't own it. It belongs to my deceased friend whose beautiful home we get to stay in during the winter. She LOVED bright colors!

Pink and black are so stunning together. Your table is beautiful! I just found some silver chargers at a thrift store, and I am about to change them to black ones with a trust can of spray paint!! ;0)

One of my most favorite designers, Carlton Varney, always recommends a touch of black in every room to help anchor the room, or in this case, the table. The black napkins are stunning with your pastel setting!

Aren't you lucky to have sisters who add to your growing collection of tableware? I like the way you met their challenge. By the way, I thought of you on my recent Tuscany adventure and mentioned that in my post.
