Taking A Break

I am taking a well needed break to get my house back into shape after the holidays. The tree still needs to be taken down and everything packed away. My house needs a good cleaning out, too!

Happy New Year to everyone...see you in a week or so.

Hi Marigene!

I SO understand! My living room is full of half packed boxes full of Christmas decorations... and I never even got the tree up this year! lol.

Enjoy your break and I will look forward to seeing you soon.

It takes a long time to decorate for the holidays and a longer time to take down and clean up. Take your time and enjoy the start of a new year!

XO,
Jane

Are you sure you are not going out dish hunting?

Hi Sweetie,
So how is it going? The cleaning part. I am so easily distracted by other things that need to be done. Cleaning is not one of my favs. Wouldn't it be nice to have a cleaning lady? See you soon.

Love your blue and white too! That centerpiece is lovely. I'm on the lookout for blue and white candlesticks.

Happy new year, Marigene. I'm visiting from a comment you made on another post, just because I wanted to see what you were up to. I'm assuming you've de-Christmased by now--we didn't do it till last weekend because we celebrated the Epiphany (I did a post on it if you'd like to see it). So here's to your getting it all done and resting! Hope to see you back in posting mode soon! ~Zuni

I am in the same club! I usually leave the tree up until after my birthday as my mom did, but I am gone this week too and two days next week, so it isn't going too quickly! Enjoy your break.
