Orange Rooster

This week I decided to use my favorite rooster dishes, the pattern is Orange Rooster. I bought them at TJMaxx several years ago (on sale for $2 each), but could only find 3 dinner plates. I finally found the 4th on e-Bay not long ago for $6.

I chose a green tablecloth and rattan chargers. The table is quite colorful with yellows, greens and lots of orange.

The soup bowl is perfect for a large green salad.

I debated on using green stemware, but in the end I had to use the orange stemware, of course. It is Noritake Perspective. They were found at small antique mall in Topeka last year.

The yellow and orange napkins are from World Market and I have had them for quite awhile. I bought them in all the colors they had...blue, green, red, black, orange and these yellow ones. They probably get used more than any other ones I own! The flatware is Oneida's Afterglow sterling.

The very simple place setting, just a dinner plate and bowl for salad.

The centerpiece consists of the few flowers that have survived from Mother's Day and a rooster pitcher. I tried to keep everything simple due to the busy pattern and colors of the dishes!

Thanks for visiting this week, hope you will come back next time.

I will be joining a few parties this week and hope you will join me:

Let's Dish at Cuisine Kathleen
Wednesdays Bunny Hop Party at Bunny Jeans Decor
Centerpiece Wednesday at The Style Sisters
Thrifty Things Friday at The Thrifty Groove
Seasonal Sunday at The Tablescaper
Thank you ladies for hosting each week!

Beautiful table, and so glad you found the plate on Ebay. They are the nicest rooster dishes I have seen. The orange stemware is gorgeous! My son called me from World Market in Florida since he knows we don't have one here, and asked me if I wanted anything. OMG, I told him one of everything!

I so seldom use orange, but when I do it always so effective....a really powerful color. The goblets are a treasure...hard to find. Your rooster dishes are such fun...I'm so glad that you found the fourth one! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
