Wildbriar

I love the colors of my Wedgwood Wildbriar dinner plates. The are perfect for a fall setting with the cream, brown, rose and greens. They were introduced in 1957.

I used a machine crocheted table runner instead of a tablecloth. I also used the woven chargers from World Market.

I was drawn to the glassware not only because they are green, but the bubble/crackle appearance.

The salad plate is Sterling in brown and cream. The soup bowl is Johnson Bros. Snowhite Regency.

I have once again used my Oneida Louisiana flatware.

While I was setting the table Mystic was perched on the hutch watching to make sure it was done to her satisfaction!

Thanks for taking the time to visit today. Hope you will return again.

One of my favorite tablescapes as I adore plaid, scalloped dishes and particularly love the scalloped bowl. Have never figured out how you can do week after week of gorgeous settings. bbb

Love the table runner. It allows you to show off your table, and really compliments the colors in the dishes, etc. It is always a surprise to see what you have as your centerpiece. This time, the cookbooks were the surprise added touch! Have a fantastic day! Your friend, Sue Z.

Hi, Marigene!!! So your "supervisor" approved? I do, too! :-) I love the runner!!! It's perfect for tying the whole setting together. Your china is just gorgeous, and the "Louisiana" flatware works so well with it. I had my eye on that pattern a number of years ago. I got something else instead, and I have regretted it almost every day since! REALLY cool to use the books as a riser! I wish you and your sweet hubby the very best of the Thanksgiving holiday!

Every single component is beautiful.

Your supervisor seems to be thinking it over.

The flatware is so classic -- I have always like this pattern.

Its so nice that Mystic was there - just in case - but it doesn't seem like you probably ever need help! They sure know how to pose though don't they - so that they are blog-worthy as we say!

Your plates are so pretty and they are perfect for fall. I love the books under the centerpiece. They add such warmth. Have a wonderful week!

All of a sudden I'm seeing some wonderful crocheted pieces on the table and they have given me ideas for how to use the pieces saved from my mother's linen chest. I like how you've added books as part of your centerpiece.
