Easter Table #1

I found this cute tablecloth a few months ago and had to have it. It is very large so I am going to cut it down and use some of the extra for napkins. The center is filled with a cabbage patch. The green striped napkins are held with a rattan napkin ring.

I started with woven chargers and layered with Bordallo Pinheiro bunny plates that I have had for a long time. On top of the dinner plate is a brown and white salad plate (which we will use as a dinner plate) and finally a brown bowl/underplate that the salad will be served in. I have used these versatile little bowls for everything from soup, to salad, to individual pot pies to desserts.

The glassware is Noritake Provincial iced tea glass in a true brown.

The flatware is the pattern I grew up with, International Silver Gracious, circa 1939

The salad dressing will be served in my newly acquired Red Cliff sauce server. I have the matching tureen.

The centerpiece is a simple wood compote with a chunky candle.

The rim shot.

The photos are kind of so-so this week...I am blaming it on the overcast weather on Tuesday and this morning the sun was out, but for some reason this table didn't photo well...maybe it is the colors?

Thanks for taking the time to visit today, don't be afraid to leave a comment so I know you were here.

I will be joining a few memes this week...please follow along with me. Thanks for hosting each week, ladies!

Hooray that you found the Red Cliff sauce server to go with your tureen!!! That's terrific! You put together a heck of a table, and the colors all have that woodsy feel. I like woodsy! I'm glad you are able to sew because that's a great solution to the oversized tablecloth without compromising the center design! The sunshine has just been weird lately. Today was super sunny and was probably great for photography, but I had nothing to photograph. We will probably not SEE the sun again for quite some time now according to the weather guessers, so I hope you got your fill of it today! Have a good weekend, and stay warm!!!
