I think maybe you will be able to figure out what the inspiration for the table is by the first photo...a sunflower tablecloth, big and bright! It makes me smile. I was recently at Savers and this tablecloth jumped out at me...at first I thought someone had put a shower curtain on the wrong rack and then realized it definitely was a tablecloth and that tablecloth was going home with me. With a 30% discount the tablecloth set me back $4.20.
I debated using green and yellow dishes, but figured they would get lost so I pulled out vibrant Waechtersbach red ones. I used an unmarked white plate for contrast. The flatware is Rogers 1847 Plain.
The glassware is ruby Cris d' Arques Antique and green stemmed Luminarc.
The solid red cotton napkin is held with a sunflower napkin ring of painted wood.
The centerpiece kind of fades into the tablecloth...it is the only 2 yellow flowers I have blossoming right now...achillea/yarrow and coreopsis/tickseed.
The rim shot.

Beautiful as always! I love that tablecloth and laughed at your shower curtain comment. I have actually found a few beautiful shower curtains at thrift stores and cut off and hemmed the top and they make excellent patio tablecloths :)
Marigene this table cloth is gorgeous. I think you were smart to add the red! This is why I love to thrift shop! Thanks for linking up to TTF this week!!

Week after week, a tablescape that makes me scramble to find the perfect words to say how fabulous it is. Could I have the round placemats and scalloped plates? bbb
Absolutely beautiful! you get the best stuff at Savers. I go and find nothing! It all goes together great!
Wow! It's gorgeous....the red dishes were perfect for this setting. Love the bright yellow and green. Another winner!

Your centerpiece is pretty and such cute napkin rings for your sunflower theme. The red was a perfect idea for contrast.
You did great working with your newly acquired sunflower tablecloth (good bargain). The red was a good choice to use with the bright flowers. I have never worked with sunflowers so am glad to see your choices. Good job.

Sunflowers always brighten my day no matter what form they take. Love that you used the red with the cloth. It all makes for a very cheery table.
$4.20? What a find! Using the earthy red with the sunflowers is such an unexpected and great pop of color on that sea of sunflowers! Your table really makes for smiles Marigene!
