Christmas Table #1

My simple Christmas table is black, white and red. The inspiration was the new dishes I found at HomeGoods about a month ago.

I started with a round, black placemat, then a Gibson Regalia dinner plate and lastly the 222 Fifth Joyful salad plate.

The napkin is a simple white cotton with a cutout corner. The flatware is Oneida Louisiana.

I used a simple black wine stem.

The centerpiece is a (fish) bowl filled with red Christmas orbs and candy canes flanked by black wood candlesticks/off white candles.

A little candlelight, maybe?

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to visit, it is greatly appreciated.

I will be joining Let's Dish/Cuisine Kathleen.

Very nice. The red, black, and white is a little more formal than the traditional red, green, and white. Another lovely setting.

This is a winner, Marigene! I saw those dishes a few weeks ago and I was drawn to them but not sure how to make them look festive. You've totally done that! And I love your wood table as the backdrop as opposed to a tablecloth, the lighting just seems to make everything glow. I may go back for those plates...I'm envious!!

Jane
