I am behind doing tables for fall! I really wanted to do a couple more than what I already have. I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving, then it's on to Christmas.
My friend, Candy at Plum Creek Place, sent me an awesome package filled with goodies...for starters, it had 4 plum Artland Iris stems, 6 of the cutest clear amethyst grape dishes and purple/brass napkin rings...plus more goodies that I will be using in futures tablescapes. If you have never been to Candy's blog, you really should visit...you will not be disappointed. Thank you, thank you, Candy!
The linens are a bright (polyester, I know, I know!) fall tablecloth I found at Savers for 99¢ and yellow napkins from World Market a few years ago. The tablecloth is perfect for fall with corn, pumpkins, grapes, sunflowers and pomegranates.
To start the plate stack I have used a round woven charger, a gold charger, purple (BHG) dinner plate, gold salad plate (TJMaxx) and purple leafed dessert plate (BHG). I have used the little grape dishes for the rolls. The gold charger has a raised France on the back...Arcoroc, Maybe?
The stemware is amethyst Artland Iris water goblet and a gold Indiana Glass Diamond Point wine goblet.
The flatware is Oneida Louisiana.
The centerpiece is a Bennington pottery pitcher filled with fall flowers and leaves, faux this time; gold, green and cream candle holders. The salt/pepper are in little Bennington custard cups and ceramic leaves. I have also used a couple of black and gold urns filled with leaves and mini pumpkins. Did you notice some of the photos are before I added the fall flowers?
Thanks for taking the time to visit today...hope you will come back next time.

Bravo, so colorful and fun during this frigid cold weather. bbb
Marigene, this table is the color of jewels. It's beautiful. Not just another fall table by any means. ;-)
so very festive and exactly what I think of when I think of the holiday and the glorious autumn colours. Just lovely.
Your table is gorgeous, and I love how the tablecloth complements everything else. :)
Rich and colorful! This table would cheer anyone up....
love you,
jude
Hi Margiene,
Wow, this is really different with all those colors, especially the purple.
Very nicely done.......and very festive.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Nellie
Love all your bright colors of fall and another great tablecloth, even if it is polyester!
LY,
Delma
Marigene, I love the colors you have used in this tablescape. The purple with the gold is just so Fall but not what we usually see! I love your tablescapes!
Hugs,
Linda
Oh my goodness, look at this gorgeousness! Your table is stunning, I love the coloring, tablecloth and dishes...of course all the attention to detail!
The most lovely Autumn colors in one!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
FABBY
And what exactly is wrong with polyester??!??! I have no beef against the fabric. It's useful on the table because it washes so easily. A life without polyester is like a life without....well, you get the idea! :-)
That Candy is one sweetheart-and-a-half! What a nice goodie bag! You really worked with it all and let it shine! The abundance of fall color here is beautiful, and it reminds me that we ARE still in the autumn months...even if it feels like Siberia in January outside!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and that sweet husband of yours from the Nichols household!
Yellow, purple and gold are so pretty together and perfect for fall (or should I say winter?)! So cold here. Have a great weekend!
What a wonderful Fall table that's full of vibrant colors, Marigene! Aren't those plates gorgeous?? I really like the mini pumpkins in the tiny urns, too.
You're cake from the National Bundt Day post looks delicious Marigene! I have to try the recipe! Have a wonderful Sunday! Meike
I am with you on the polyester, I like some cotton in the mix! Your table is so colorful, love the purples! Very sweet of Candy to gift you, and you are very generous too! Happy Thanksgiving, Marigene.
This table is gorgeous! You had me at the purples, but the whole thing is wonderful.
Marigene,
Gorgeous Tablescape for Autumn, dear friend.
LOVE the choice of purple throughout!!!
I tried to leave a comment on your Bundt Challenge, but I was too late!!! Marigene. . .I do believe this is one of the most elegant tablescapes I have seen you do this year, dear one!!! I adore all the silver! The Silver Trayscape as a centerpiece is exquisite!!! Love, LOVE, L O V E your dinnerware!!! Thank you for sharing such beautiful tablescapes with us throughout the year!!!
Fondly,
Pat
What a stunning table! I love your color palate, especially the purple! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
Marigene, I think I am loosing it. I came by to visit last week and I could have sworn I left a comment. Now I am feeling so bad. I love, love, love this table scape! The tablecloth is so perfect. The golden sunflowers are beautiful and they ground the beauty of the gold wine glasses, the charger and salad plate so prettily. The grapes in your tablecloth tie nicely to the purple goblets and the grape plates (or bowls). Again I am so sorry.... I remember writing a comment but maybe I fell asleep without updating, but here nor there your table is beautiful!
Wow, I am loving this bright colorful table! It is so vibrant and has such color. Totally stunning!....and I know what you mean about wanting to do more tablescapes. I said the exact same thing and I think I have gotten 2 done. LOL Life just keep intervening...I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving .
Now tell me how did I miss this, Marigene? LOL! I must have been really busy. I love all the mix of these vibrant jewel tones. So pretty!..Christine
The yellow and purple colors for the dishes look amazing together thanks for sharing this at my last Party
