I will be joining Cuisine Kathleen for Let's Dish with the fifth Christmas table I have done this year! I am going to try to squeeze in at least one more.
The tablecloth was the starting point... multi-colored poinsettia/fruit, paired with cream napkins. I used raspberry Nancy Calhoun Solid Color chargers and salad plates. The dinner plate is Home Hearthstone.
The glassware is Cristal D'Arques Longchamp, iced tea and wine. The Oneida Louisiana rounds each placesetting. The flatware is stainless...it tarnishes, anyone else ever have that happen? Weird. I did clean the ones that were tarnished before using them. I just never had any stainless tarnish.
Thanks for taking the time to visit today...I hope you return the next time.
Merry Christmas to everyone!

This is wonderful! It reminds me of another tablecloth you have used (maybe Fall).
What a fun tablecloth. It's looking a lot like Christmas here Marigene!
Very pretty Marigene! Your poinsettia tablecloth is perfect with your stack of festive plates and the ever gorgeous Longchamp stemware. The poinsettia ornament on each salad plate is like the icing on the cake, and the centerpiece looks lovely in the crystal bowl too..... Candy
This is so pretty and I love the ornaments! Poinsettias are a favorite. Love the colors!
hugs,
Linda
Oh my, five...we are being so spoiled this Christmas with glorious tablescapes. bbb
Very festive -- love the tablecloth -- vintage?
About that stainless. I have had it discolor in the DW, but otherwise, no, I have never had it tarnish. Some of the ghastly DW detergents out there will do bad things to dishes and flatware, and even change the color of pots and pans. I like Finish the best.
I always enjoy seeing the tablecloth you have chosen each week, and your poinsettia tablecloth is perfect with your stack of festive plates. The Longchamp stemware is quite versatile, and I use mine quite often. The centerpiece and crystal bowl is a nice touch with the Longchamp. Hope you are enjoying the holiday season!
What an amazing tablecloth - I love it and your darling poinsettia ornaments add the perfect touch. I hope that your have a wonderful Christmas, Marigene!!

I love the vibrant holiday colors of your beautiful tablesape! The poinsettia tablecloth sets off the mood so charmingly:) Beautiful crystal stemware! Merry Christmas~hugs, Poppy
Hi Marigene, This table is absolutely beautiful!! I love the combination of colorful tablecloth and solid cream napkins. The pretty little votives and ornaments on each plate are a perfect touch. :) But -- I think your crystal stemware is some of the prettiest I've ever seen!! I just LOVE it! No, I've never had stainless flatware to tarnish; that is very odd. Yours is still really pretty though, such an elegant pattern. Before I forget, I love your centerpiece, too. :)
I think this is one of your prettiest tables yet, Marigene. Visiting from Cuisine Kathleen's; I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Denise at Forest Manor
Very pretty! The tablecloth is beautiful and I like the cream napkins with it! Love those poinsettia ornaments! You are outdoing yourself with five Christmas scapes! I think I've done three, one more to go - next week.
Merry Christmas!
Katherine
I like each and every one of your Christmas tables…they are all so festive. I really liked your napkins that were folded to look like trees. Great job.
Marigene, I've spent some time just looking at all of your Christmas tables, and it's really amazing how, once you've got as much variety as you have, you can prove the ability to mix and style so many different ways. I am drawn to your crystal here, though I keep very little myself. I also have loved your dramatic black cloth you used in one, the tree fold, and your colorful flatware. Great style mixes, all! Have a wonderful Christmas, and I hope you get to enjoy at least one of those tablescapes for real!

I love it Marigene, the table topper is gorgeous, I love all the holiday print, like a chintz.
The dishes are so pretty too with the poinsettia ornie in the salad plates.. You are so creative. The Longchamp stemware is gorgeous too.
Merry Christmas my friend.
FABBY
Finally, I am here. Such a cheerful table, with the traditional colors. Love that little ornie at each place! You have outdone yourself this season, Marigene! I am a slacker this year! Thanks for linking up!
I, too, have had some stainless steel to tarnish and wondered how and why! According to every article I have ever read on Google, though, the claim is that stainless cannot tarnish. I wonder what in the heck that is, then??!?!??! Do I have a pricey treasure and just not know it? Wouldn't that be wonderful to find out we really had silverplate instead of stainless? :-)
Five Christmas tablescapes??!?!?! Woo hoo! You GO, girl! And every one of them has been a slam dunk! I am sure there are lots of people out there picking up on some very cool ideas thanks to you!!! You always have such a good eye for putting together nice pieces....and you're a stupendous shopper!!!
Merry Christmas, my love, from across the state line!!!
Hi Marigene, thank you for stopping by my blog. I simply love this table setting, so happy and festive. The table cloth is so beautiful. It's always a treat to visit with you.
Blessings,
Marlene
