Another Vintage Tablecloth

I cleaned out the linen armoire a couple weeks ago and found a few tablecloths that I haven't used in blog tablescapes. This happens to be one...a vintage one with yellow, orange and indigo as the main colors. As you can see I have used oranges and blues with a bit of white for this week's tablescape with orange and white napkins held with blue napkin rings.

The plate stack is a blue Vera Bradley dinner plate, white Alfred Meakin luncheon plate and a bright orange Waechtersbach salad plate.

The Dollar Tree blue wine stem seemed to go very nicely with everything.

I used International stainless flatware.

The centerpiece is a simple cobalt ice bucket/vase with orange roses. I tried to get orange tulips, but they didn't have any.

One of the best parts of the table are 2 8" orange BP cabbage leaf bowls. I was so excited to find them on eBay...I didn't know the cabbage pattern came in orange. I haven't even taken the BP stickers off them!

Many have asked what colors I have in the cabbage pattern...green, white, pink, yellow, purple, lavender, blue and now 2 pieces in orange. I also found a site in the UK that has black soup bowls...hmmm.

Thanks for anyone that "voted" on or off to the newly painted hutch. Keeping the top on was the overwhelming winner. I think I will leave it on for a period and when I want a change will take it off and store it in the garage.

Thanks for stopping by today...please come back next time.

Orange one of my favorite colors and an orange rose sure is perfect. The hutch looks fabulous, glad with the top was the favorite option but know it will look good either way if you are decorating it. bbb

Oh I love the bright colors - they go perfectly with your sideboard. The orange cabbage leaf bowls are wonderful - and I'm very jealous of all the colors you have. They are so spendy that I find myself mostly wishing for more - and the only color that I have very many plates of is the pale blue.

Your table is simply delightful - and so spring-ish.

Love the bright colors, especially the blues but what really caught my eye was the lemons on the tablecloth....one of my favorite fruits! Love fresh ones with a little salt.
Great table setting on this snowy, rainy day in VT.

Beautiful table Marigene! & You know I love your vintage tablecloth, so colorful. I think that's what got me addicted to them, all those colors. I'm a fan of the orange bowls too.

Love, Love, Love the vintage lemon tablecloth, the colors are so vibrant and your color choices for the place settings highlight the blue and orange in the pattern of this classic tablecloth. I love the Indigo blue Vera Bradley dinner plate, it is a gorgeous color and the orange roses in the blue vase are just as lovely in the centerpiece.

The freshly painted hutch is perfect as the backdrop for your tablescape. That gorgeous green with the white dinnerware and accent pieces is every bit as stunning as I thought it would be.

I don't have much orange in my decor, but sometimes you just NEED orange! Your bowls are definitely a fabulous Ebay find. Your table full of energizing color really gets my heart racing. I love the way you included several colors in your plate stack. It's very fun and vibrant!
