Santa's Reindeer

Each year I look for Better Homes and Garden's Heritage Collection Christmas plates. This year they are Santa with a couple of his reindeer pulling the sleigh, thus Santa's reindeer! I still have BHG dishes from last year that I haven't made a tablescape with. My plan is to do several more tables this year, if time permits...so stay tuned

I wanted to do something more for the male species so I have used more of a woodland theme. I started with a gold tablecloth and cream/tan checked napkins held with deer antler napkin rings. The amber glassware and flatware round out the setting.

Notice the mama fox and kit down in the right side of the plate! I love these plates.

The centerpiece started with a woven tray, two gold deer, pine cones, a brown candle and bottle brush trees.

Thanks for visiting, hope you will return next time.

I will be joining Table It/Rustic & Refined.

Oh what a pretty table - love the featured plates - I had no idea there were new ones made each year - what a lovely collectible. Your table holds such beauty - you have a great eye for making things go together. The centerpiece is perfect. Have you had snow yet? When we lived in Kansas a million years ago the snow got higher than our kids' heads - sometimes there was 4 feet of snow and with a frozen crust on top they could walk around on top of the snow - they enjoyed that a lot - we liked the snow on weekends when we could stay home and spend time with family doing crafts and cooking.

What a beautiful tablescape. I love your plates, especially the movement in the artists design. The way the reindeer are running and the adorable foxes standing by. Your charger plates are wonderful. Centerpiece is so grand and speaks of a winter scene. I so enjoyed your post.

Yes, do buy them when you see them, because they'll be gone in no time. I've learned my lesson the hard way!!
