Spring Tablescape

We have had some really nice spring weather mixed in with some really, really rainy weather. We do need the moisture, but not day after day!

Back a few months ago I found two of the same pattern April Cornell tablecloths at Savers, but different sizes. The colors are perfect for spring so I have used the smaller of the two for this table with solid pink napkins.

Even longer ago the salad/dessert plates were found at the same Savers. They were originally from Pier One...pricey little plates, at $11.95,each, back when they first came out in 2011/2012. The pattern is Antoinette.  I paid considerably less for 4 plates than the original price of one plate! I paired them with the Pier One white wood charger, white dinner and light green luncheon plate, both Bordallo Pinheiro. For something fun, I used mini pedestal cupcake holders for the rolls. The stemware is from Tuesday Morning a few years ago. The flatware is Oneida Afterglow sterling from 1956.

The centerpiece is a pair of lime green ceramic candlesticks from Goodwill, a small pedestal with a BP luncheon plate, tiny green vase, green rabbit and some faux eggs.

Thanks for taking the time to visit today...hope you will return next time.

I'll be right over - I'll bring hot cross buns for the little cupcake stands - what a grand idea. I love how the plates and tablecloth match so well - and the napkins are perfect. Love the flatware and those glasses are to die for. Such a springtime pretty table. We've had the wettest Feb. and March ever - we are a bit weary of the rain - had one day of surprise sunshine on Thursday - I planted pansies and sat on the deck and crocheted a while - it was lovely - now back to our regularly scheduled rain rain rain rain rain rain. Hope your weekend is sunnier my dear.

Well my luck hasn't changed, all my picks failed but it was a great race.
That horse was 3 lengths ahead and I didn't bet him even though he looked great on paper, he had a bad leg awhile back, love a come back and glad to see Todd Pletcher trainer win another Derby, They also had a Jockey that had won the derby in the past. Thanks for the comment, I'll put your Blog on the sidebar. Yvonne
