I have been going to do this table for a couple of years, but never got it worked in until now.
The large mallard tureen and individual tureens were from my husband's parents, circa early1980's. The little ones were used for the very first meal Howard made for me before we married...he did delicious tuna casseroles in them. There are 8 of them plus the large one.
The table topper, made in Italy, was a Christmas gift from Howard's cousin, Bev. Their dad's were brothers that lived to hunt and fish. The napkins are a pale yellowish beige.
I found 4 really tarnished copper charger plates at Savers for $5.99. I have cleaned them just enough to use them today. I think someone actually used them as plates by the looks of the knife scratched surfaces.
On top of the chargers are Wedgwood Patrician Golden Ivy (1962-1981) dinner plates. They are a creamy white with brown laurel, yellow and green ivy. I used a square salad in pale yellow as the underplate to the mallard soup bowl. They are marked Home on the underneath. The tureens have a large S on the bottom along with Portugal. I am wondering if the S stands for Secla?
The lime glassware is from TJMaxx a few years ago. They work so well this time of year.
The flatware is Rogers Gracious, circa 1939. This is the pattern that I grew up with.
I removed the candles, they just didn't work for me!
