The cream lace tablecloth is old, not antique old, just old (like me). I chose red and cream toile napkins as they match the dinner plate in color perfectly.
The flatware is Oneida Louisiana stainless found at Savers last year for almost nothing. I bought service for 8 at less than $20.
The stemware is Cristal D'arques Antique in ruby. When held up to the window, they are a true red. I have seen these in other colors and would love to find some in other colors.
The dinner plate is J & G Meakin Tudor Roses, the salad plate is unmarked and the soup bowl is Johnson Brothers Snowhite Regency.
I have used my Red Cliff tureen and the red mercury glass candle holders as the centerpiece. I recently found the underplate to the tureen.
The rim shot.

This is a lovely red and white table. I love the softness of the red rose plates! That tureen is one of the prettiest I've seen. I'm working on my first Mardi Gras tablescape. Hugs, Linda
I love the red and white table. Each time you display that lovely tureen, I gasp.
You always crack me up when you say rim shot ;o)
Another fantastic tablescape. Thank you for sharing such beautiful tables with us. bbb
The Tudor Rose plates are gorgeous and the napkins you found are a perfect match. I do love red :)
Bring out the red and the pinks. I'm doing the same. Love this holiday! Your table is lovely. The red stems and your tureen is one of my favorite ironstone pieces.
Your table scape is gorgeous! I love the toil napkins and the tudor rose china.
Beautiful flatware. And the toile napkins are my favorite.
Oh, that last photo of the whole table is gorgeous! I love the dinner plates with the napkins, and the "Antique" pattern crystal is perfect. I had to go to Replacements to see the other colors, too -- I want them all!
Beautiful and romantic! I'm sure your Valentine will like it :)

Absolutely exquisite reds and whites. Your glasses and fantastic. That reminded me of my mother's lace tablecloth and I haven't gotten it out in ages. Now I am going to have to go search (probably organize too!)
Marigene, I love everything...from the flatware, to the pretty dishes to the gorgeous stemware to the toile napkins!! Aren't you lucky to have found the plate for under your pretty tureen?
This is such a pretty table and the napkins are perfect and so perky for it. The tureen is lovely, as well as the stemware. Joni
How beautiful, Marigene. I love the toile napkins and the plates. Just a perfect romantic table....Christine
Those napkins and plates are fabulous together and I love the goblets. My daughter has the purple ones, which she allows me to borrow sometimes. They photograph so beautifully. Your "old" tablecloth is lovely. I laughed at your "like me" comment. Believe me - I am beginning to feel like an "antique" - lol!!
Marigene,
Such a pretty tablescape!!!
I adore the message this tablescape sends...get ready...something wonderful is in the air!!!
Roses so sweetly placed throughout!!!
Bring on the chocolate, wine. . .and roses!!! Truly romantic!
Fondly,
Pat
Beautiful table! I love the plates & the red toile napkins. They go so well together. Your stemware is so pretty!
Silly me...I didn't know Cristal d'Arques made colored stemware! That just goes to show you how little I keep up with what's going on in the world! I love that deep ruby red. It's majestic! I have those same napkins, but not the beautiful dishes that complement them so perfectly. You made a great match there!!! Glad you found the underplate for the tureen. You are such a trooper when it comes to finding great stuff! As for the tablecloth, like fine wine, baby...like fine wine!!! :-) Have a great weekend, Marigene!!!
Incredible photo, that red goblet with the light coming through. The table is really beautifully put together.
I'm swooning with the white soup tureen, it's gorgeous! You also make the most lovely tables with beautiful flatware and stems, just like now! The toile napkins are very pretty, as well. Thank you dear Marigene for your sweet and kind comments. Big hugs,
FABBY
So pretty! I love your reds with your pretty lace tablecloth. What a great tureen. Happy Valentine's.

Hi Marigene! I love your toile napkins and you are right, they look like they were made for your plates. Isn't it always so satisfying to find that one piece that you keep looking for? I'm glad for you that your found your soup tureen plate. It fits perfectly.

How pretty. Your soup tureen is gorgeous. Red and white always look fabulous together. Yes, my plates are American Atelier. I can help look for any extras for you.
Settings for 8 for less than $20....that's amazing! Your photos show your table to be very dramatic which is perfect for dim lighting on Valentine's. I had to chuckle over your parenthetical remark.
Beautiful collection Marigene..love your soup tureen.your table cloth caught my eye.The red stemware looks very pretty and goes well with the season....:):)
I love the toile napkins and the Tudor Rose plates -- they speak to my love of all things European. I've been inspired this week to get out my soup tureen and use it in a tablescape, and your lovely tablescape strengthened my idea. Thanks for visiting The Dish Room!
Beautiful table. I love the plates and the flatware. What a great buy.
Beautiful, just beautiful. You stole my heart with all your pretty valentine colors! Love the toile napkins, goblets and china pattern and I see we have the same stainless. Thanks for sharing your table..........

Hi Marigene,
This is my favorite tablescape that you've done -- I love it!!! Your dinner plate and salad plate are so pretty, and the Red Cliff tureen is such a treasure. I especially love the red and cream toile napkins (I never get tired of toile) and the Crystal d'Arques ruby stemware is gorgeous. Your Oneida stainless is very similar to our Oneida Tennyson we got when we got married. This is just a lovely, romantic table.
Visiting from Seasonal Sunday -- have a wonderful weekend.
Denise
Love the stemware and the toile. Isn't it fun to welcome the seasons with new table settings? I was just packing my wintry one away this afternoon.
