Saint Patrick's Day Table

For one that has lots of green dishes I have very few you have not seen...these green qautrefoil shaped ones were found last summer, so they have been sitting on the shelf just waiting for a once a year table...Kathleen's St. Patrick's Day Blog Crawl! My daughter, Erin, would have liked these plates when she was a child, her food could be separated so it didn't touch!

I always use the same centerpiece, actually the only one I own...the tipsy little leprechaun!

I even made cut out cookies and iced them for the occasion...Happy St. Pat's Day to my friends!

Today, March 10, would have been my parents 70th wedding anniversary.

Thank you for visiting...please come back next time.

White cabbage leaf charger-Bordallo Pinheiro
Green quatrefoil dinner plate-Just says it is microwave/dishwasher safe made in China

Green goblet-Ivima 1895 hobnail
Pearly white flatware-Murval
Shamrock dish-Hallmark

Marigene, I love the qautrefoil plates, they look fabulous with the white BP cabbage leaf charger plates, both are perfect for a Saint Patrick's Day tablescape. Your table is a delightful display of lovely shades of green to honor Saint Patrick's and your homemade shamrock cookies really do look magically delicious! I am in serious need of a cookie fix today myself. Right now I need to get busy to get my post ready St. Pat's too.

Marigene, Your table is so inviting! And your daughter's name even fits the theme--Erin--I love it! One of my kids would not let his food touch and he still has those moments at age 23. I'm still searching for the blogger who has the table topper this year. You started such a wonderful tradition. Happy St. Patrick's Day with your mischievous leprechaun! Linda

The St. Pat's crawl is such fun. I really love seeing pictures of the beautiful tables of people who are as obsessed with dishes as I am. I was walking through Pier One today lusting in my heart after even MORE dishes thinking that I must be in need of serious therapy. I love those clover shaped plates on the bottom.

Your table is so cute...I hope you have company to enjoy it! Your daughter reminds me of a few of my kids with that "not wanting anything to touch"...then I had kids that grossed me out by putting gravy and corn on their mashed potatoes. Go figure!

Love the layers and colors...you always do a smash up job, Mari!

Marigene, your plate stack is so pretty. I love all of the different shapes of the plates, and I really want some cabbage dishes, but have no place to store them. Now that I've seen your bowls, I'm thinking bowls may take up less space! I like the way you wrapped the fork with the napkin.

Hi Marigene, Thanks so much for your visit and sweet comments. I'm sorry I'm just now getting to visit you; we left town the day after I posted my Irish table to spend three days at the coast. I tried to visit people when I got a chance, but the house we stayed in had no wi-fi.

I love your pretty and festive St. Pat's Day table! I would LOVE to have that cabbage pitcher. :-D My favorite things on the table are your little cabbage bowls, the white dinner plates (so pretty) and of course your new green plates. I also love your green goblets and the shamrock bands around the napkin and forks. You did a great job, and your shamrock cookies look delish. :)

I hope you had a happy St. Patrick's Day, my friend, and thanks again for visiting!

Hugs,

Denise
