One Of April's Best!

I think by now everyone knows that my favorite color for tablescapes is aqua, I have mentioned it enough times! The inspiration for this table came from an April Cornell tablecloth I found at TJMaxx back when the weather was still cold, can't say snowy, as we didn't get snow this past winter! This is one of my favorite tables, lots of aqua and orange. I really like this tablecloth, so many nice summer colors.  I paired the cloth with plain aqua napkins.

The plate layer begins with the Pier One white wood chargers, then an orange Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage charger, an aqua Mexcera cabbage dinner plate, and finally a gold kidney shaped Bordallo Pinheiro salad plate. I have also used Hoenig of California aqua apple dishes to hold the rolls.

The glassware is Pioneer Woman can be found at WalMart.

The cute little metal candle holder is from Hobby Lobby last year. I found the aqua candles at Goodwill several years ago

This cute little bowl was found at Goodwill several years ago.

I found this aqua pitcher at TJMaxx when I first started blogging in what seems like years ago!

The mums and alstroemeria were the only two orange bouquets I could find at the market the other day. Surprisingly they look pretty good together.

Thanks for visiting today. I hope you will come back next time.

Wheat Sheaves Against The Azure Sky

This table topper caught my eye several months ago...reminded me of the wheat fields just before they are cut. The gold against the bright azure sky.

Tiny polka dotted napkins are held with blue/white ceramic rings.

The plate stack begins with an octagonal charger, then a Vera Bradley dinner plate (yes, I did use the VB chargers last week!), a Fred Meakin salad plate and finally a Bordallo Pinheiro dessert plate.

My favorite flatware by Oxford Hall Wear Ever in blue, which is a recent eBay purchase.

The glassware is a gorgeous shade of blue wine stem from the Dollar Store. I love the shape of them, as well as the color.

The centerpiece is a bowl of fresh vegetables and pitchers of basil.

Thanks for visiting today...hope you will come back next time. Have a wonderful weekend!

Vera Meets April!

The inspiration for this table was the April Cornell tablecloth I found at HomeGoods a couple months ago. It is blue, green and cream.

The solid periwinkle napkins are held with a dragonfly napkin ring.

I have used a blue Vera Bradley charger, green BP cabbage leaf dinner plate, blue salad plate from Target and a green BP cabbage leaf soup bowl.

The flatware is Oxford Hall Fashion Wear...they call it lime...I have to disagree with them, it isn't lime by any means...more like a grass or leaf green.

The glassware is Artland Iris in light green.

The centerpiece is a cake pedestal filled with candles...how much simpler can it get.

The rim shot.

Thanks for taking the time to visit today...hope you will return the next time.

Another Nontraditional Christmas Tablescape!

I love the traditional Christmas colors, but really prefer nontraditional much more.

Inspiration for this table came in the way of a piece of fabric I bought back in the summer. Black/pink/green/red. I ran with the green and pink!

The base of the setting is a black woven charger to which I have added Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage leaf plates in green and pink.

The sterling flatware is Oneida Afterglow, circa 1956.

The stemware is a pink water/tea glass and a green etched wine glass.

The centerpiece is just a small tree in a black garden urn.

Thanks for taking the time to visit today...do come back the next time.
