Green and Red Christmas Table

Today was the last of my Christmas luncheons with girlfriends. I had to do a couple as I couldn't get everyone together on the same day. I started out doing red and white and changed it to red and green an hour before their arrival. The red and white was too close to what I had done the last two weeks.

Here is one of the red and white I started with...The red charger is a large Waechtersbach dinner plate. The white plate is unmarked as is the red soup bowl.

The green plates are old, also unmarked...we use them frequently. The flatware is Oneida Louisiana.

The Cris d'Arques/Luminarc wine glass has an emerald green stem. This shape and size are my favorite...they don't hold much white wine for this almost non-drinker! I bought them at Savers, they were 99¢ each, but on Mondays they give a 25% discount on certain items...they qualified for the discount so I got them for 75¢ each.

The rim shot.

I used green/red tartan napkins with little berry napkin rings.

The centerpiece is a wooden compote filled with candles and the picks from the previous few holiday posts. I also added a couple red and silver mercury glass candle holders with white chunky candles.

Yes, I did use the same crocheted table runner as last week...it is beautiful, so why not.

I want to thank all that follow me and visit each week...I really appreciate it. Please do come back the next time.

Wishing you all a season filled with love and joy.

I will be joining the following memes this week and hope that you will follow me. Thanks for hosting each week, ladies.

We're going to start calling you Marigene The Quick Change Artist! You did a great job of changing the whole personality of the table in a very short period of time. I still wish I had your magic touch when it comes to finding fabulous stuff at bargain prices!!! I must get there right after you've just left because all I ever find is junk!!! Now, I'm not going to start a turf war or anything like that, but DANG, Marigene...leave something for me!!! :-) Merry, Merry Christmas to you!!!!!!!!!!
