The Last Gasp Of Summer

The last gasp of summer is upon us here in the midwest. There is still a very small amount of green to be seen in the lawns and along roadsides. The leaves are bright and beautiful, but have started falling. When this happens we know that fall has arrived, for sure.

I decided to do a green and white table with a tiny bit of orange in the way of mini pumpkins.

Thanks for visiting today, hope you will return next time.

The green and white are so nice and crisp.....you should use the same basics next spring but add some spring flowers and it'll be a whole different table! Wish the season was spring again....just don't like fall even though it's beautiful because it reminds one of what's coming! Keep on delighting us with your beautiful tablescapes!
Love you,
Jude

I love those Bordallo Pinheiro plates and bowls!!!
Adorable miniature pumpkins!!! I finally found mine in Nevada, MO.

Absolutely gorgeous - one of my favorites. The little cabbage bowls are just darling. Green and white is a great choice - with a splash of orange. Love the napkin rings too!!!!

Never was much of a fan of the color green until fairly recently but you sure know how to do it up beautifully. It contrasts so well with white. Great tablecloth.
Not liking this cool weather at all.

How lovely! You inspire me!! I wish I had more storage to have different sets of dishes to swap out with my mood or the season. I try to change it up with the table linens and centerpiece but what you do is so beautiful!!

A beautiful table to take you into Fall. So refreshing to see a table that is not Halloween. Love your plate stack. The little bottle brush squirrel is such a charming whimsical touch. Valerie

Beautiful Marigene! A soft and wonderful transition to Fall with your last Summer breeze. I love your pretty linen in white and green. You've inspired me to use my green china from MDay's.

Reminds me that it is time to bring in the cabbages. Yours are so beautiful and green. I just adore your fabulous placemats. They are so pretty and romantic and the cabbage plates and bowls are the perfect touch! Still green and lovely here and the leaves haven't started to fall - which is really late and means we will have lots of leaves in our snow!

I am enjoying all of your fall tables here. I just cannot seem to get it together table-wise this season, but then this is becoming more the rule rather than the exception. I am a huge fan of transferware and toile, so I am coveting those placemats!

Thanks for stopping by! I miss blogging and visiting blogs. I am so happy to be back. I think I will just do pictures like you did. It seems easier when I can't write. I loved looking at your green cabbage dishes. I love them anyway! I did look through your other tables too! I just love all the fall colors especially the green! It just goes on any table no matter what time of year it is......I love the tablecloth!
How is your hubby doing? Thinking of you!

Really pretty table! There is still quite a bit of green here, although leaves are falling everywhere. It was nearly 80 degrees today, raining off and on. Supposed to be quite a bit of rain over the next week, so we'll probably cool off a bit more. We are still wearing sandals and basically summer weight clothes, just darker colors (at least I am -- Ray could care less!).

Somehow I missed this post, so I'm glad I took a minute to stop in. I like the toile placemats and how you've brought out the green and white. You can't have too many pumpkins to suit me!
