I will be joining Cuisine Kathleen for her annual St. Patrick's Day blog crawl, this is my 7th...it's hard to believe she has been hosting that many years! It was just as exciting this year as the first year trying to put a table together.
It is fun waiting to see whose table the roving table topper will show up on. I always try guessing who has it...not been right, yet.
For anyone that doesn't know, the colors of the Irish flag are green white and orange. I have pulled out the green and orange for this year's tablescape with just the crocheted table topper in cream.
The base for the tablescape is an orange linen tablecloth topped with a hand crocheted cream table topper.
The dish stack begins with green Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage leaf chargers. On top of the charger is an orange Royal Norfolk dinner plate from Dollar Tree, then a green BP salad plate and finally a green BP bowl which will be used for soup...I usually use these for ice cream.
The flatware, Oneida Louisiana is sitting on an orange napkin from World Market.
The centerpiece started out with the little Irishman holding up his beer...then I decided I wanted to use something a little more grown up, so I used a potted succulents with green tealight holders, that I actually bought to use as salt dips.
The serving dishes are orange BP bowls.
I will join

How utterly *Irish* & colorfully impressive, Marigene! I never thought to combine the orange with the green, other than in my candy dish. I love your idea!!
You have more BP pieces than anybody else I know. LOL I didn't know they came in so many colors. Just Gorgeous!
Happy St. Patty's Day!!!!

So pretty.
Oh I am in love with your gorgeous table and its fabulous colors. I'm green with St. Patrick's Day envy! :)
Oh Marigene I love your table with the great pop of color! The orange and green is awesome and the cabbage plates are perfect too.

How clever to take the colors of the flag for your table theme.
I saw the BP in pink this week but have not seen the orange. Love all your pieces. I'm looking for more of the BP with the white veining. Tuesday Morning has the Raphael Pattern but I want new pieces to match what I have.
Did you say you have participated in Kathleen's Blog Crawl from the beginning? I'll have to go back to be sure I read that correctly.I'm so glad she got her computer issues fixed.
Oh Marigene I love it! Of course you would think to use bright orange, and it looks fantastic! I always forget that the Irish flag is orange, green and white, and the orange really makes your table a star! Love the crocheted topper too and of course your wonderful cabbage dishes. Happy St. Pat's day!

A pretty colorful table in honor of St. Patrick. You know I love your cabbage collection. Happy St. Patrick's day.
Definitely shouts out the Irish flag! All you need to complete the picture is a big foamy glass of Guinness beer!
Love you,
Jude

This is a great table, Marigene!! These colors are just perfect, and they're so bright and cheerful, I'd expect to see them in an Irish pub. I love the orange tablecloth with the lace topper. You have such a nice collection of Bordallo Pinheiro dishes; I'd like to get some more for myself. :)
I hope you and your husband are keeping well. I enjoyed your post and hope you have a fun St. Patrick's Day!

Love it, so perfect to use the colors of the flag. The orange and green are just great, love the combination and that sweet orange BP plate is to die for. Wish it was mine! Beautiful job!
I love your SPD table in set in the colors and celebration of the Irish flag Marigene! You have the most wonderful variety and color of BP plates, I didn't know it was available in orange. Thanks so much for starting the tradition of the travelling topper. It's always fun to see where it lands. Happy St. Paddy's Day! ♣

Marigene, I love these bold colors of the Irish flag! That plate from Dollar Tree looks like Fiesta Ware! Being my first year to join the SPD crawl, I need to look for the traveling cloth and understand better how this all works.Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!
What a clever idea to pair the colors of the Irish flag, Marigene! The orange really makes the green pop. Happy St. Patrick's day!
Well, that makes me just want to get up and jig! Love those colors, and you are the only person I know who has those gorgeous BP chargers. Those green glasses pop off the screen! Thanks so much for crawling again this year! I appreciated your kind comments, as usual!
Marigene, I never knew the BP dishes came in orange! Your idea to use them for an Irish flag table was very clever. I was also inspired by the flag but with the food instead. This table is so festive! I think any Irish person would be quite proud to sit here, and I know I would enjoy it even though I haven't got even one drop of Irish blood in me! I was also curious to see where the topper would turn up! I found it but I won't tell in case you haven't seen it yet! Linda
What a beautiful tablescape. I did not know that Irelands flag was white green and orange. I love what we are learning on these posts. How smart to use that in your setting, it's a great combination. I also really love your pretty green seeded goblets!
Who would have thought that those colors would make such a vivid, interesting table. Beautiful job. dianne
I'm absolutely swooning over your BP cabbages dishes! I really must find some. This orange and green table is one of my favorite on the 'crawl' this year!! Happy St.Pat's Day!
Oh Marigene - this table is magnificent. The colors just sparkle and everything fits together so well. I love the idea of the tea light holders for salt too - clever girl. No wonder the Irish are so gay and happy - their flag colors just cheer you right up.
Hi Marigene, the colors orange and green are gorgeous together and makes such a lovely table. Your cabbage pieces are my favorite, of course everything you do in my favorite. I don't think I've ever seen anything but the green. I will have to remember to add touches of orange for this special day.
Happy Spring……...

I love the orange here! I am starting to embrace orange and have been painting some small birdcages in what I thought was apricot, but may be too "pink-y" and I may just have to start again. I love the vibrancy here and, as always, marvel at your collection.
Trudno oderwać oczu od tak pięknej zastawy.Kształt,kolor cudowny.Serweta na stole jest śliczna i delikatna .Pozdrawiam gorąco.
