A Birthday In The Middle Of Nowhere!

My favorite day of the week is upon us...Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch. Take the time to go visit our gracious hostess, Susan, for more eye candy. I promise you won't be disappointed in any of the tables you will see.

To enlarge any picture, just click on it.

My inspiration this week was my daughter, Erin's birthday, Sunday...which was also one of our Phoenix grandson's. Happy 13th birthday, Matt...we miss being in Phoenix closer to you!
Erin shares my love for the color green...it is a good thing seeing her name comes from the Emerald Isle, plus she has beautiful green eyes. I pulled out a few green dishes that I haven't yet shown y'all.

Erin and her little shadow, Nitro.

The green chargers were found at Goodwill for 49¢ each...all plates, whether dinner, salad or bread and butter size are the same price at the Goodwill in Lawrence.
The white dinner, Wedgwood Hedge Rose and luncheon plates, maker and pattern are unknown, to me. I have shown these several times.
The green salad plate is Waechtersbach Fun Factory in green apple.
The soup bowls are Myott Staffordshire England in the Colleen pattern. I haven't been able to find anything on this pattern so am not sure how old it is.

Closer look at the beautiful soup bowl.

The different layers are quite pretty together, don't you think?

The glassware is a plain green and small yellow goblets. The yellow is by Indiana Glass King's Crown/Thumbprint, but have no idea who the maker or pattern is of the green goblets.

The centerpiece is just 3 stems of Bells of Ireland and a few sprigs of Baby's Breath with a couple of candles.

Erin's friend made the birthday cake for her. Thanks Rhonda!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog. I appreciate each visit and comment. I try to respond likewise, time permitting.

I love green, too. That cake is extra special.

Hi Mimi, there are some "Buckeye" trees that start turning orange in the summer, but those photos were taken in early June, and that one with the color is at a very high altitude and the trees were still budding. I was so amazed by the color against the cloudy sky there. Those are also phone photos! They won't really start to turn until the first of October. The sky is already that clear blue we get in fall.

You do have a way of putting things together and once again have some wonderful finds. My daughter and I have been doing lots of antiquing, and when I see dishes/glassware I can't help but think of you and wonder what you would find interesting. Probably all of it! Hope all is well.

Where on earth did you find Bells of Ireland??? Please tell me you were able to grow them yourself, so that I can go look for seeds or plants to do the same?!
