This April Cornell tablecloth is just begging spring to arrive a little early. I know there is more than enough time for lots more winter, even though our temperature is supposed to be in the mid 70s today. I just hope Mother Nature isn't cruel enough to let the lilacs bud out and then drop the temperatures down below zero! She has been pretty fickle the last few years so who knows what she has up her sleeve for this year.
With the bright yellow and pink tablecloth, I added a solid pink napkin held with a striped napkin holder.
The plate stack is very simple, all Bordallo cabbage plates, starting with the white wood chargers from Pier One, pink chargers, white dinner plates and a pink cabbage leaf salad plate.
The glassware is a pale pink tulip stem, that I think is probably Libbey.
Oneida Louisiana was the choice for flatware.
I will join Dish It/Rustic & Refined.

What a beautiful spring table! Just love the pinks and yellows and that pot of tulips finishes it off.
Love you,
Jude
I love April Cornell! There was a flagship store in Burlington, VT where I would always have to stop when I went to visit my daughter - I always came out with some goodies!
I don't like February but really like tablescapes that get posted in February. This one makes me think of the waitress at the diner we frequent. She showed me pictures of walls she painted red and yellow in her kitchen. bbb
I love April Cornell fabrics too! Your table is very Springy and cheerful!
This is definitely springy. I love how you mix colors and patterns in ways I'd never think of and they come out fabulous. Love love love the tulips - perfect color. I must get out some of my cabbage dishes and do a table soon. As soon as I get over this nasty cold. Thanks so much for the book on folding napkins - I'm going to have some great fun.
You know I'm loving this table with all the pink!! April Cornell linens are so pretty and the pink and yellow is so spring!!
hugs,
Linda
What a refreshing glimpse of upcoming Spring, Marigene...it can't arrive soon enough for me!
LOVE your all your pinks esp. those Bordallo cabbage plates.
JoAnn's big headquarters nearby was carrying April Cornell fabrics last year & I intended to make up a few tablecloths but forgot all about it...for obvious reasons. Maybe I'll find some pretty ones like yours this year. Thanks for the inspiration!
Marigene,
Oh, dear friend, it has been Spring~like on my side of the Prairie for a week now!
Perfect timing for your April Cornell tablescape!
Those pink tulips are absolutely beautiful!
Fondly,
Pat
So pretty, Marigene! The layers of plates are beautiful! I should start spring tables too cause it's definitely spring here. It's been sunny and in the 70's here this week...Christine
Oh Marigene, your collection of Bordallo cabbage plates is the best! You just know the right ones to pick that coordinate perfectly with you gorgeous tablecloths. It must be like a breath of springtime every time you walk by your table. The tulips and chunky candles look so pretty as your centerpiece.
Pink, I am obsessed with pink color right now...I don't know if it is a "Spring is coming" thing or the color just makes me feel so happy. Your table is stunning Marigene! Also your white chargers remind me I need to hit up Pier 1 and grab a couple more. Thanks so much for joining the Dishing It & Digging it Link Party and I hope it brings you some new friends!
Love the pink and white cabbage. April Cornell always has beautiful pieces, I have several but am loving yours. I'm ready for some pink in my life.
I love the tablecloth. You added so well to it with the dishes and whole tables cape. Love the pink tulips! Very nice!
Beautiful bright table! I'm ready for spring, too, but in Missouri we can have snow on Monday and 60 degrees on Thursday so spring may not be here for awhile.
Beautiful, spring-y, and gorgeous. Oh, how I miss the April Cornell store that used to be here.
Good Evening Marigene,
I think this is one of the prettiest tablecloths I have ever seen.
These colors are nearly mesmerizing and they most certainly brighten up early Spring days.
A beautiful table setting and oh the tulips...pure magic.
I am wondering if you will be using this cloth for your Easter table?
Jemma
What a BEAUTIFUL post and tablecloth. A happy way to start my day. Thank you.
I love those vibrant colors, Marigene! It won't be long before we see tulips popping up here (I hope!).
Such a beautiful table. You are so right, these colors belong together. A very happy table with beautiful accessories. Love all of your collections. I adore the tablecloth.....Have a wonderful weekend.
With those pink tulips on your colorfully set table, how could spring resist coming a little early to your area.
Gorgeous! I can see my Fiesta with that cloth! Hope the weather improves!
This is truly one of my favorite color combinations! I also adore April Cornell. HomeGoods currently has a blue/aqua color palette and I am tempted.
Make sure you link this gem up tomorrow on Thoughts of Home on Thursday. :)
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely and beautiful Table setting with us at Thoughts of Home On Thursday!
I was excited when I saw that you are joining in on the party!
Hope you join us next week too!

Love love love! April Cornell linens have always been among my favorite. Again I'll say, you've got it going on with the beautiful colors and dishware.
Thank you again for being part of Thoughts of Home on Thursday. :)
Well, after seeing your beautiful table I guess I will have to set one! I haven't been on Sweetladyelaine's in a long time. It just doesn't feel right. We are selling our house and moving to Greenville-Spartanburg area of SC. I know once I get settled I'll be back blogging again. I guess I just need some me time. Love your table and I am missing everyone!
